Gotta respect Green working so hard to save Tine from comphet. The way he looks at the girls from the swimming club and then hustles Tine away, iconic.

Okay it's been over 3 years since I watched it so that seems reasonable

Impressive how Peaceful Property manages to have the traditional breakup episode despite not being a BL.

Just rolling in wearing jeans & Chucks & a battle jacket that says fuck on it and carrying a backpack nbd.

Just thinking this morning about how I didn't follow any of my mom's rules about how I should dress for work and now I have a window office and a job classification with "executive" in the title.

When someone tries to recommend a TV show to me:

A Duolingo Chinese exercise: "I don't want to see English programs."

Soooo right now my new boss hasn't gotten an update, but I've been told the person in my old position will be permanent later this month? A+ communication as always!

I mean, with the way they've been looking at each other for the whole series, it's fine. You know I love me some dumb boys.

I think Match Point set some kind of BL land speed record this week, going from "I don't know how I feel about you" to sex in like ten minutes.

instagram boifriend 👻 @marginalia.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Basically they want me to stay, they're tired of waiting around, & it's just a matter of how little process we can get away with.

It's like 90% that I'm going to get hired & thus achieve my dream of avoiding a farewell event by taking a temporary position & then never going back.

Oh no tfw you're reading something kind of dirty at the bus stop & then you run into a coworker 🫪

instagram boifriend 👻 @marginalia.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

& seriously Teshow might be first in this pairing name but I saw Bay's face anytime Sun grabbed him & I'm not writing fanfiction I'm not writing fanfiction I'm not writing

instagram boifriend 👻 @marginalia.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

I accidentally rewatched this week's episode last night & this idea of being enemies as that's the only way you can stay in each other's lives, ugh I love it.

instagram boifriend 👻 @marginalia.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

Next week is some kind of field trip, which is great news because is it even love if you haven't played at the beach together? The odds are certainly against it.

101

instagram boifriend 👻 @marginalia.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

The way Bay looks when Sun throws him around a little, whew.

instagram boifriend 👻 @marginalia.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

Unsurprisingly most of the fic for it is in Chinese, so mostly mine is ignored, which is what makes this weirder 🤷

000

instagram boifriend 👻 @marginalia.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

Got 3 kudos today for a fic for a ten year old Chinese movie what the heck. (The fic is also that old.)

People in IG comments being like "it can't be that hard to get visas". Girl. Pay attention to the world for five minutes. It is *so hard* right now.

000

instagram boifriend 👻 @marginalia.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

But I guess easy for me to say because I was never going to go to the Only Friends event anyway?

100

instagram boifriend 👻 @marginalia.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

I'm honestly surprised that GMMTV got timely US visas for as many artists as they did, & they should just stop trying for now. Everything is fucked here! Stay away!

100

instagram boifriend 👻 @marginalia.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

This is not a subtle dream because my job classification *is* EA, though I don't currently do any of the things you would associate with that (except a little finance), I do worry a bit that if the new boss keeps me they would want that.

020

instagram boifriend 👻 @marginalia.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Had a dream that I was Megan Rapinoe's executive assistant, & I was very bad at it (also she was a nightmare to work for, sry2say.)

Loving Boat as the captain of this Match Point ship, both generally and because obviously a great name for a ship captain.

100

instagram boifriend 👻 @marginalia.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

I mean, it is also a show where characters high-five a Jesus statue so honestly it could go either way

000

instagram boifriend 👻 @marginalia.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

Imagine if our tax dollars went to shows with promo images like this.

Match Point ad, with Teshow & Ping sitting on a bench in a locker room. Ping is leaning on Teshow & Teshow has his arm around him. They're adorable.

Watching a new-to-me series and we have fainting! Trying to get someone to go to the hospital! A rain scene! Hair drying! This is all the first episode, plz leave something for the rest of the show!

A Dog and a Plane made me really want to rewatch Peaceful Property, which while not BL or GL is extremely slashy, & I'm not afraid to do that last mile myself.

instagram boifriend 👻 @marginalia.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

The mom liked it immediately; the dad liked it with a little discussion (namely, this is all nice, but why *his* son.)

000

instagram boifriend 👻 @marginalia.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

I wouldn't allow it otherwise, but they are queer and in a country that has had marriage equality for five minutes (a year and a half) so it's okay (for now.)

110

instagram boifriend 👻 @marginalia.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

As a rule I don't believe in asking the parents for permission to marry, but Toto putting together a slide deck to pitch Kanit's dad on his, like, 20 year plan is pretty great.

Is this a GL side couple I see? Could we be so blessed?

Progress was the worst part, though. He spent the whole series making Dreamworks Character Face.

The way I felt so seen by this review! (Everyone else on letterboxd loved it, meanwhile I'm like it's terrible and I have no good reason for bothering to finish it)

I'm watching Love Class 3 right now and seriously why don't we have more trainee BLs. Me & my ability to do a tight 30 on Chuang 2021 would eat it up.

It would be better to just have whatever I watch tomorrow night and not have I Shot Andy Warhol drop off. I could have four bangers!

Stopped watching the final episode of this show halfway through, not because it's too good to leave, but because it's terrible and I'm not ready to commit to having it in my letterboxd Friday post.

Considering how Sing used his medical degree in Dare You to Death, it's probably for the best that he's wrapping wontons instead of going to medical school in Match Point.
