I have always loved Orca / Killer Whales. It was a lifetime dream to see them in the wild for the first time in Norway 🇳🇴 2017 #Norway #Orca #KillerWhales #wildlifephotography

Orca swimming directly towards us. That dorsal fin is 6ft tall. So impressive. He dove and went under our ribbed skiff. Norwegian waters off Andenes.

These were the first Orca I had ever seen in the wild. Having that experience in Norway was amazing.

These horses have adapted to eat "eel grass" that grows in the river bottom in the summer. Looks like they are snorkeling.

Arizona night photography taken at various times.

Light pollution reflects off wispy clouds to give color to the night sky that is captured by a long exposure night image.

Saguaro was lit with artificial light from the side. Clear desert night skies are full of stars.

Just about 10 min after sunset with night settling in and stars coming out. I set up the tripod. Some subtle light painting in the foreground and some stunning color remains.
