Fun fact: Datura inoxia and Datura stramonium are poisonous nightshades that are also powerful soil remediators. Growing them in contaminated soil has been shown to remove heavy metals like lead, cadmium, nickel, and chromium.

My newest artwork #Lament engages with wildfires' intricate ecologies. It features an installation, a performance, and a community engagement program. More at margheritapevere.com/lament/
