Updating some sprite position and... Alphonse, no that's not ok. Just because he's your boyfriend you can't be this inappropriate. It's clearly not the time.
Screenshot of Ravel the Frays, on the right of screen is Graham with his eyes shut looking fed up. Hovering with a face right by his crotch is Alphonse, clearly the sprite is in the wrong place.
Al is saying "Helloooo. Help is here at last! Will that be tender kisses or sweet caresses?"

#ScreenshotSaturday showing two more of the characters that gets across their vibes perfectly.
Screenshot of Ravel the Frays, set in a med bay space from the perspective of a hospital bed. On the left is a pilot named Harper, folding his arms and eyes shut tight in frustration.
On the right is a doctor in a lab coat with a cheeky grin as she bites on an oral chew and says a line that appears in a text box at the bottom of the screen:
"God complex? I find him quite simple actually."

Ravel the Frays is playable here at QCON! @superbiasedgary.itch.io and @esshemasha.bsky.social are hovering around if you want to talk to either of us. Please don't be afraid if you get double Alphonse. It's a simple bug that cannot hurt you.

There's also an A4 poster for the game on a stand, business cards and little zines for other games.

Come check out Ravel the Frays at Q-Con in Belfast for June 14th-15th. We'll have a playable demo where you can learn why Graham looks this moody. We might even have a new trio of characters for you to meet.

If you want to get a peek at how Ravel the Frays is coming along, don't miss out on Fís this Friday! Gary will be there to show it off, get feedback and chat about it!
Ravel the Frays key art.
In the foreground Alphonse and Graham reach out to each other, not quite touching as they are also tilting away, like they've just missed.
In the background AILISH looms impossibly large, manipulating screens that also show their faces.

ATTENTION INDIEDEVS Show off your art style
A picture of AILISH standing in a med bay and talking to the point of view character. The character art is all digitally hand drawn and textured. Backgrounds are 3D spaces with some post processing on the exported image.A puzzle screen with lines of dialogue to be rearranged in the foreground, in the background two characters stand in an engineering space.A full screen illustration of two characters, both looking away from each other. In the foreground Graham angrily grips and turns a big valve while hiding his mouth in his jacket. In the background Alphonse floats in the zero gravity space looking forlorn.A close up of AILISH, head buried in her hands and hair curled wildly around her as she says "You shouldn't have seen that..."

into Place order. lines correct
Screenshot of Ravel the Frays showing characters in an engineering space in the background.
On the foreground is a puzzle showing lines of dialogue out of order, they say:
"Helloooo. Help is here at last! Will that be tender kisses or sweet caresses?"
"Mmm mm."
"And... there. Couldn't talk. Concentrating."
"Of course, of that concentration slipped the ship would collapse."
"Wrench got your tongue huh. I'll stick to loving gazes for now."Picture of AILISH facing the camera in a medbay as she addresses the protagonist and says "Can you hear me? Repetition helps communication."

Our new sci fi mystery game Ravel the Frays is up on Steam now: store.steampowered.com/app/3499260/... You can wishlist it and be first in line when we have a demo available later this year!
Key art of Ravel the Frays
AILISH, a large imposing figure in the frame looks down on two smaller characters in the foreground - Alphonse and Graham. The two of them reach for each other but don't quite touch, as it looks like they're drifting away from each other.
At AILISH's finger tips are screens she's manipulating that show the other characters' faces and the logo of the game - the title with a line of golden thread running through the words leading to a needle shaped spaceship.
