Autumn in Michigan is pure magic and one of my favorite seasons to paint. This is an 11x14 inch oil on gessoed hardboard, titled "Autumn Greeting". Enjoy! #oilpainting

I have been working to rebuild my painting inventory after an especially successful show at Old Town Art Fair in Chicago last weekend. #oldtownartfair #lakemichigan #artist #oilpainting

I've been working on a couple commissions lately, including this big 30x60 inch painting of a very rock-filled creek. 37 rocks down, many, many more to go. #art #oilpainting #paintingprocess

Progress shot of a 12x16 inch oil on gessoed hardboard. I've painted this lake at least a dozen times. It's a nature preserve close to my home and I don't think I'll ever tire of these sunsets. #Michigan #lakesunset #sunsetpainting #oilpainting #fineart #paintinginprogress

Is this entire app all cats or is it just my feed? At any rate, here's my cat contribution - a pet portrait oil painting completed last winter for a client. 8x10 inch oil on hardboard. Sold. #catpainting #oilpainting #petportrait #michiganartist
