My local farmers markets have started opening up the last two weeks. So far I have seen an increase in obviously AI generated banners, logs, and even backdrops. It’s super sad to see at a farmers market but I just choose not to purchase or even stop by the booths that have AI anything.

It’s so nice to see that the monarch butterfly population is actually increasing instead of decreasing this year. They travel through my state and town each year and as a kid I remember seeing them every day. Now it’s maybe a handful that I see each year. Hopefully more this time around the sun!

Genuinely. AI porn farming with no regard for the known eco-political impacts disgusts me. Anybody who touches the stuff is catching a block. And that's on top of the devaluation and extensive harms it does to the artist community too.
