A hard cap? No. But maybe a soft cap. I also think if you’re doing a cap you have to give hometown teams some sort of Bird rights to go over the cap for stars and also get rid of arbitration. 3 years at a minimum then RFA. After 5 years - FA and teams get Bird rights to go over cap to sign player

Here’s an angry take: I value WWE main events more than any other match when it comes to saying how good a wrestler is. I don’t think people understand their schedule. The amount of interviews and media and signings and sponsor meetings that have to do is insane. Especially at big events.

This was something on the table for me 5ish years ago. The fact that it hasn’t happened is weird. Cost vs politics it might be hard. The small places don’t have the cash to leverage locals and names. The big companies don’t have the event space/time. It can be done. Takes buy in and will.
