If you had the choice, would you go back to a world without AI? 🤔 Be honest! 👇

Is the #buildinpublic community still active here? 👋

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

I'm back after ~10 months! 👋 Please recommend some builders who are still very active here 👇

I have been very quite here the past few months, but I'm finally back! 🥳 What are you guys building at the moment? 👀

120

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 25/10/2025

I really like the way how Claude Code recently works. It actively asks various questions before implementing anything 👏

What's your go-to SFTP client on macOS? 👀 I'm happy for any recommendations 👇

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 20/10/2025

Everything was down today... 🤯 Except for all my apps, thanks to self-hosting them on Hetzner 💪

020

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 11/10/2025

This is the first time I'm not going to renew one of my domains 👀 I bought it two years ago because I wanted to build something with it! But I decided to not further continue on this idea 👋

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 11/10/2025

Happy weekend, builders! 👋

020

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 28/09/2025

I really think about getting started with app development 👀 Any tips for me? Any frameworks to consider?👇

120

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 19/09/2025

I finally upgraded my iPhone 11 😎

020

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 16/09/2025

I just upgraded to iOS 26, and surprisingly, it's working quite smoothly on my iPhone 11 👀 I didn't expect that!

Building in public is like investing in the stock market! 📈 ✅ As long as you don't sell, you don't have a loss. ✅ As long as you don't quit, your project is not a failure.

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 05/09/2025

What do you think? 👀 Is it already possible to play hockey with this? 🤔

010

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 05/09/2025

Happy Friday, builders! 👋

010

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 03/09/2025

My motivation to build something is crazy at the moment! 😎 I mean, just look at this contribution graph ✨👀

040

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 03/09/2025

Now, things are getting interesting! 👀 I also found my site in the Google Search results today ✨ I mean, it was on the 8th page, but anyways... we all need to start somewhere, right? 😂

120

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 03/09/2025

I just started the day with a perfectly brewed coffee! ☕✨

120

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 02/09/2025

Alright, that was very quick! 😎 Now, my focus is to get some organic traffic to it! 👀

000

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 01/09/2025

I really enjoy working on my private and local-only side-project 😎

000

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 01/09/2025

That's at least a starting point! 👀🚀

010

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 31/08/2025

Today is the first time, I really hit the limit of my Claude Code Pro plan 👀 What should I do? Wait for 2,5 hours ⌛ or upgrade from 20$ to 100$ plan 🤑

100

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 31/08/2025

I just came back from a 2,5 hours bike ride ✅ 💪 Now, back to building! 😎

010

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 29/08/2025

Here's the plan for this weekend 🙌 Add a blog to solidsips.com where I can publish all kind of content, e.g. learning content, guides, product updates or just tips and tricks for better coffee brewing, etc...✨

solidsips.com

Solid Sips - Perfect Your Coffee Shots

Track your coffee brewing journey, log your recipes, and perfect your espresso shots. The ultimate tool for coffee enthusiasts.

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 29/08/2025

Gym, done! ✅ This is building in public on a different level 💪

010

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 29/08/2025

It's Friday, builders! 👋 What did you achieve this week? 👀

210

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 26/08/2025

I can't believe it! 👀 A few days ago, I did my first open-source contribution! 😎 And guess what? It was just approved ✅

130

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 26/08/2025

I definitely have too many projects going on... 🤯 Sometimes I think about shutting down everything and focusing on just one project.

120

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 25/08/2025

I'm trying to set up Google auth for my app. I need to provide a support email in the Google Developer Console. How can I select a different support email address, other than the one I used for the Google account signup? Please help 👋

000

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 24/08/2025

Did you know that Brave browser has a split view? 👀 Crazy, that I'm only finding this out today 🤯

020

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 24/08/2025

It's my first time using the Google Cloud Console to set up Google login for my app. It's such a pain... 🤯

130

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 23/08/2025

I really think about getting myself a walking pad 👀 The idea of combining work with light movement sounds amazing.

010

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 23/08/2025

Laravel users! 👋 How would you set up magic links?

230

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 23/08/2025

I figured out quite a lot of people leave my site on the signup page 🚪 So I guess I'll figure out social logins now 👀

130

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 23/08/2025

That's me! 👋 And to brew even better coffee every day, I built solidsips.com 👀

020

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 23/08/2025

Is there anything better than seeing someone signed up to your app overnight? 👀 Best way to start the day, honestly! 😎

110

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 23/08/2025

I chose Laravel for my latest project and I love it! ✨ But here's the first time I'm missing something from the javascript environment. I'm missing better_auth for easy implementation of social auth providers 👀

110

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 22/08/2025

Quickly implemented a search bar with a fuzzy search to filter my previously brewed coffee shots ✨

010

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 22/08/2025

I just deployed to production, on a Friday evening! 👀

030

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 22/08/2025

AI has completely changed the way we work, especially in software development. It's incredible how quickly you can develop complete apps these days. Do you still enjoy coding though?

130

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 22/08/2025

Crazy times right now... 🤯 I built my latest project in just a single day! 😎 Development speed is crazy, but it also means there's way less things to work on. What I mean is, my backlog is basically always empty 😂

130

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 22/08/2025

Who else can't start the day without a good coffee? 👋

340

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 19/08/2025

I really want to build something open-source 👀

110

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 17/08/2025

What do you do when someone signs up for your product but obviously uses a non-existing email address, causing the verification email to bounce...

210

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 16/08/2025

Started the day with a bike ride, got myself a coffee and a croissant at the bakery, and enjoyed them sitting outside in the sun 😎

010

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 16/08/2025

And... here we go again! 🚀 Let's see how long it takes to get this project a good amount of organic traffic 👀

020

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

One thing I really like about Laravel: controllers! ✨ Unlike basically every javascript-based framework, I love its clear structure given by its classic model-view-controller (MVC) approach.

140

Marc @marcsdev.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

It's crazy how much things you need to add yourself to projects built on javascript-based frameworks 🤯 Instead, you could just use Laravel and get everything out-of-the-box 👀 ✅ Authentication UI & Logic ✅ Eloquent Database ORM ✅ Light & Dark Mode Switch ... and much more!
