@sweeperpod.bsky.social re: the latest episode, the Auckland United and Auckland City in the Chatham Cup is a different Auckland to the Auckland FC that’s in the aleague. Wellington Phoenix and Auckland FC have reserved teams that compete in the Chatham cup though.

Grim turn out for a city team who are 3rd in the league. Also where’s the active?? Is there a boycott or is there fanbase this thin now?

Idea: the winner of the Australian championship plays the winner of the NZ national league

Wellington haven’t ever really seemed that invested in the Australia cup, would it ever be feasible for them and Auckland to play in the Chatham Cup? Has that ever been discussed?

Only the @ccmarinersofficial.bsky.social second worst continental result behind this loss to Seongnam in 2012. #CCMvYFM #CCMFC

This result is reminding me of the bad old days. I wonder if this is purely showing the skill difference or are the squad starting to feel the weight of results? They just don’t look that fired up or organized. #CCMvYFM

I feel not enough is being made of Hutch’s return to the coast. Massive achievement for him to take on that coaching job and what a draw to have two “Mariners” sides play each other with such a connection. Great support from the Marinos in full voice. Cracking game before it even begins. #CCMFC
