Here’s a little sequence from my pinball machine, where you can bother Grimey by going around Sector 7G.

Between the arcade cab and the pinball machine, I have unintentionally built myself a Simpsons shrine

My pinball machine is in its natural habitat today. An arcade!

Me and my finished homemade pinball machine will be at 8-BIT BEANS arcade all day this Sunday! Come out and play if you’re local to Durham Region (Ontario, Canada)!

@chaddundas.bsky.social Thanks for the shout out about the pinball machine! Games shall be free for your son, to honor his achievement of beating the Simpsons arcade! (Assuming we ever cross paths IRL. There is an arcade & pinball show in Tacoma, WA that I want to drive my machine to one year.)

Here’s a flythru of the now-completed pinball machine. Almost 2 years to the day since I started the project!

First game honors of the now-fully-built pinball machine of course goes to my son

And the playfield is finally reassembled. Now to get someone to come over and help me lift it back into the cabinet.

A photo of my home made Simpsons pinball playfield, now with full artwork and playfield items, sitting fully assembled on a workbench

Edges practices from the one and only @marcobucci.bsky.social. Environments are not really my thing, but I tried to focus on what the lesson was about: the use of sharp and diffuse edges on a piece of art to lead the attention of the viewer. Marco's channel: youtube.com/@marcobucci

@cpi.pinball.horse out of curiosity, did you ever play Pinball Fantasies (DOS game, 1994)?

Marco Bucci @marcobucci.bsky.social · 31/08/2025

The clearcoat is finally cured, and most of the playfield is reassembled. Tomorrow is polishing and waxing, then the two wireforms can go back on… then I think it’s DONE-done! #pinball

Some more value practices. This time, I followed @marcobucci.bsky.social's lesson and then made a male version of my own. Incredible artist and teacher, in case you didn't know him: www.youtube.com/@marcobucci

Holy crap the playfield art is on!

My process for lining up the digital art to the physical playfield of my homemade #pinball machine. This is just a cheap, large-format print, where I’ve manually cut out all the lights. Took me six drafts…but things finally all line up! Final print next 😬

I am on the FINAL PHYSICAL STEP of my pinball machine build. Here’s a little update.

Got a test print done of my pinball playfield art. Need to ensure all the lighting inserts line up, sign off on the look, and then can move onto the production vinyl print

Finished wiring the sauna. Heater is 7.5kw; this beast pulls ~32 amps @ 240 volts. 150ft cable run, so had to use 8ga wire due to voltage drop. Auxiliary 120V lines for various sensors. I knew how to do exactly 0 of this before building a pinball machine (and watching @techconnectify.bsky.social)
