We always taught our 2 that the context of the swearing matters. Don't swear in front of your teacher or grandparents. We know you'll do it at school. If you hit your hand with a hammer, scream it out loud! 😄

Sounds great. Look forward to the great unveiling.

Amazing! That’s so nice to hear. I shared it because I was so frustrated that I couldn’t find any info on how to do it. Thanks for your kind words and enjoy the “new” laptop! 😂

Haha! Snowboard spins remind me of being at ECTS (games show in London) in the late-90s and playing "1080 Snowboarding" with Jeff Minter (very famous video game developer). We were both blown away by the N64's graphics and how good the game was.

Marc Littlemore @marclittlemore.com · 08/02/2026

Watching the snowboard men’s big air event at the Winter Olympics. I remember when 1080 spins were seen as a big deal and here we have 1980 spins. Incredible!

Need to play with this. Installed OpenClaw on a VM and it’s tearing through Gemini tokens with almost nothing connected. 🙈 The thing I like most is the proactive nature of it though.

Possibly! Let me know what’s wrong.

Spent about 4 hours talking to Gemini to try to get a Proxmox samba share to work with my Mac. It's just going round in circles getting me to change the config over and over again. Still doesn't work.

This is so good. Someone has built an old MTV player. It just streams old MTV footage and videos 24/7. I still remember loving watching MTV in hotels in Germany when I was DJing over there in the 90s/2000s as we didn't have it at home. wantmymtv.vercel.app/player.html

Yes it was a bit up and down. Very much enjoyed the last episode of volume 1. I thought the final wrap up was a great way to end it. #nospoilers

The Stranger Things finale did the series justice IMHO. I might have shed a little tear or two at the end.

Locking in to watch the final episode of Stranger Things. Hopefully it’ll wrap it all up nicely and Steve and Dustin don’t die. 🤞🏻

I bought this to play with my son after we played It Takes Two. Also got Lego Voyagers on the Switch for my daughter. A lot more chilled but still a fun co-op game.

It’s NYE. Both of our late teenage kids are away for the evening. I’m drinking a glass of red wine and cooking the dish I made for my wife on one of our first dates almost 25 years ago. Enjoy your evenings and Happy New Year! ❤️

In case anyone else is trying to watch Disney+ on a Fire Stick, it drops frames every 10 seconds and the video stutters. Thought it was our internet but it’s a known issue. www.reddit.com/r/firestick/comments…

Thanks! Sounds good. Need to order them online as I’m not sure I can cope with going into IKEA during the day. 😂

010

Marc Littlemore @marclittlemore.com · 28/12/2025

What are you using them for? You've got me tempted to pick up a pack from Ikea at that price. I've just installed Home Assistant on a homelab mini PC so I've been experimenting with my existing devices, mostly Meross smart plugs.

Set up a @jellyfin.bsky.social server last night. Managed to get GPU transcoding working too. I can see how the homelab rabbit hole is going to make me buy a NAS next. 🙈
