A recent art gift I made for my good friend @diiscofish.bsky.social 💚 Our OCs are having a long overdue rest after throwing fists with the corps of night city, I swear this cyberpunk AU has been living rent free in our mind 🔥

Illustration commissioned by @/Gyarulover on @vgen.co ! I'm quite happy with that one, plus it was my first time really working with CMYK colors! It's more restrictive than I thought it would be. 📸 #VGenComm

Making landscape is definitely fun. Probably have some errors or inconsistencies here and there but progress is progress. Might give a try to creating some characters and/or outfits soon. #PixelArt #Learning #Landscape

Just watched the gta6 extended reveal. That's it ? Sure the game looks nice, but holy sh... Jason sounds like he's mentally out, is eating something in half his sentences. Fights are... slow ? I don't know if it's because the guy playing in the video is almost always walking but the pacing feels...

Finally sat down and created something. Took me multiple attempts and the outsider's view of a friend of mine to fix plenty of things I did on the first version that were just wrong. I really gotta remember the rule of thirds when making stuff 😂 #PixelArt #Landscape #Learning

A pixel art creation showing a grass field filled with blue and red flowers. A dirt path in the middle, with some stones scattered left and right, cross the field in the middle towards the horizon. A large rock on the right and a tree on the left compliment the horizon. The sun shines in the top left corner while a duo of clouds fill the top right corner. A single cloud hover above the path in the middle of the sky. The sky is a gradient of blues.

So. After a week of mourning my departed grandma, it's time i get back on track with myself. I've started getting into shape with a fitness app that will leave me in muscular pain tomorrow morning for sure 😂 so I think I'll take that opportunity to get some art done. I just gotta find some ideas...🤔

Marchombre @marchombre.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

First attempt at a landscape + animation all by myself. Took me some time to decide on the background, and I kept adding ideas so i ended up with few more frames than expected. Making the animation a bit choppy here and there. Also, biker and his ride are not detailed at all 😂 #PixelArt #Learning

Aaaand done with the landscape part of the course. Full course done. Now i do wanna get back into an older course i took, where i had to stop just before reaching the "advanced" part of it, but first, a bit of a break for a day or two. #PixelArt #Learning Also that house is horrible, but shush 🤫

And today's course was focused on animations. It was quite fun to do. #PixelArt #learning

More creatures made during my course. A bit hard to follow along as i need "exact numbers" to reproduce stuff for now. The character template we did earlier came in nicely to create my own iron golem. #pixelart #learning

Funny thing : because I started learning pixel art again at the end of July, I missed the ArtFight window. But it's actually good, cause now, I have a whole year to continue learning and train before I can participate in the next one 🤫

Just finished a course on the fundamentals of Pixel Art. Next is a "complete Pixel Artist" course. Hoping to be able to create some fun little projects soon.

So... 3 weeks since I was sent on garden leave. Let's write a bilan. 1st week : i was mostly just tanking it. Too sudden, didn't really know how to feel. 2nd week : started to accept the "forced" vacations. Tried to rest, but by the end of it, started feeling guilty of not being productive.

So apparently, the new trend is to go to any meccha chameleon map on steam's workshop and spam 67 and other random stuff huh ? Not helping the case of "the new generation is always worse". glad they learned to count to 7 tho... must have been hard with how proud they seems to be of saying it.

When I think about it, Persona 5 is the only game of the series that gave me multiple adult female characters to have a crush on. A hot alt/goth nurse, a teacher, a scoop chaser... P3 and P4 only had the velvet room assistants (they were stunning tho) but no real other adult contenders.

That moment when you ask a question anonymously on instagram to the goth girl from your work and she start following you 2 min after the question. Either it's a funny timing or this was not anonymous 😂🫠

Final update on my bulgarian coworker. It appears that she is indeed already engaged (or at least with someone) but also that not many of her coworkers like her because she seems to be the type to stirr drama where there isn't any. Thank you sickening shyness, i might have dodged a bullet here.

Tw : fear of death/loss. I've had a very rough night. My head was filled with stress over the apt's visit, scenarios and internal struggles about me and the bulgarian girl, work related stuff. So i barely slept 5ish hours. Then whole day went by. Normal stuff, nice visit. Now I'm back in bed.

Cosplay has arrived \o/ well missing the pants but my black ones can do the trick for a starter. Can't wait to have them washed and then dye my hair ! On a side note : visiting the appartment tomorrow morning! Hopefully it's as good as it seems and i can get it. Then i follow the visit with work 🥲

Marchombre @marchombre.bsky.social · 03/04/2026

This night was a wreck. Mentally, I've reached one of those moments were i feel like shit cause I've been into her for months but i can't initiate shit so i feel like I'm losing the opportunity to engage with her. I'm not even trying to ask her out, I just wanna be able to chat with her...

110

Marchombre @marchombre.bsky.social · 31/03/2026

Other update, on the bulgarian girl. She dyed her hair with red touches. It looks so fricking good omg. I really wanna compliment her on it but i can't get a single word out if i try to initiate a conversation... Side note : my cosplay is getting there, so i might dye my hair by the end of the month

Update on the flat research. Cheapest and closest flat sent me an appointment offer for a visit but i had to reschedule it because of work. Hoping to get it in about 10 days. Second flat got me a good news, the kitchen is probably free cause owner don't want to remove it if we don't take it.

110

Marchombre @marchombre.bsky.social · 30/03/2026

Looking for a new flat is a bit stressful, especially when you don't speak the language. Glad i got my ex to help me out on this. I got my eyes on two places so far, both within 5 min by car from work. A bit pricey (especially bc paying extra to keep the kitchen they have) but needed.

Marchombre @marchombre.bsky.social · 25/03/2026

With that whole sora ai going down stuff, I'm worried people who never tried it before rush at it and other alternatives now. Making the other companies believe it was just sora being crap and not the whole ai stuff... I feel like we need a total crash of it, not just a corner falling down.
