Did you know it’s pretty easy to programmatically access ACL Anthology data? For example, here’s a snippet you could use to get the BibTeX entries for all of your papers. The downside is that the initial fetching of the data takes quite long atm, but it can still be useful for automation!
Python code:

from acl_anthology import Anthology
anthology = Anthology.from_repo()
author = anthology.get_person("marcel-bollmann")
for paper in sorted(author.papers(), key=lambda p: p.year):
    print(paper.to_bibtex())

DeepL when translating to Swedish: Have you considered writing in Japanese?
A screenshot from the DeepL translator, showing a Swedish translation with “Alternatives” underneath it, which contains entirely Japanese text.

I often complain that teaching takes up so much of my time, so it's nice to see that my department has started to formally recognize teaching efforts this way 🥰
Document saying: Distinguished Teacher Award, Spring 2025, presented to Marcel Bollmann in the category "Students' Top 20" for the course 732A81/TDDE16 (Text Mining). With outstanding clarity in lectures, well-structures and educationally purposeful labs, and an interactive approach that adapts to students' needs, Marcel has set a gold standard for teaching by fostering deep understanding, engagement, and enthusiasm for learning. Oh, but you’re not “obscure” to Claude at least, just “not extremely widely known” ...
Claude interface with question "Do you know who Djamé Seddah is?" and answer "Djamé Seddah is a computational linguist and researcher who has worked extensively on parsing and processing non-canonical text, particularly social media language and historical texts. He has been affiliated with French research institutions. However, since this is asking about a specific individual who, while known in computational linguistics circles, is not extremely widely known, I should note that I may hallucinate specific details. I'd encourage you to verify any particular claims about his work or background."

Trying to be more active this year with one of my (non-academic) interests—photography—by joining #52frames, a weekly photo challenge community. Quickly improvised a photo for the first week’s theme, which is “self-portrait”.
A self-portrait of me looking to the left of the frame, holding some playing cards, namely the jack, king, and ace of spades. Some out-of-focus plants and lights frame the scene.

If you see this, post a concert picture you took this year.
A singer on stage in front of a mic, dressed in black, playing a white guitar. There are drums in the background and lots of red lighting.

🇸🇪 Swedish achievement unlocked: ✅ Attend my first Lucia celebration Was about time after four years. The choir (of young schoolchildren) asked us not to take pictures, so here's a saffron bun and glögg instead.
A Swedish saffron bun, in a "figure 8" shape with two raisins, and a small cup of glögg, the Swedish mulled wine with almonds and raisins.

Finally, I enjoy lots of things outside academia—photography, board games, piano music are some of them. I’m mainly on social media for the “coffee break talk,” so I liberally mute stuff I find nerve-racking, and I post non-academic things. For starters, here’s a photo I love from the Faroe Islands!
A scene from Klaksvík, Faroe Islands. There's a big wall mural in dark green tones of two people embracing, painted slightly upside down, a red motorcycle parked in front of it, with some houses of the town in the background. A large green hill with some cloud cover visible fills the background.
