They’re insane. And heartless. Don’t care if they have water filling stations (not that I believe they’ll have enough). Living in Florida I know people don’t realize they need to drink water til it’s too late and while my family carries reusable water bottles, most people don’t. And no chairs??

Duke Energy threatening to disconnect my electricity 9 days after it was due, over less than $200, during unprecedented freezing temps in Florida is some kind of choice. I’m lucky I just forgot and have it. Can’t imagine not having it and going without heat at night right now. Devils.

The best example I’ve seen on how to use alt text is from a UK based agency Puzzle. And I know people hate AI, but this is where it comes in handy because I want to describe what’s in the image, not necessary what I see. So on in-depth ones like below, I use AI and verify the description.

Amtrak doesn’t come close to covering the entire U.S. It’s ~$600 RT from L.A. to D.C but that’s in Coach so you’re sitting upright for close to 70 hrs. Also riders in most regions sadly can’t rely on their trains getting them anywhere on time.

Literally just describe exactly what’s in the photo. That’s it. No comments or asides. I saw this on here a few months ago and it helped me. It gets easier as you go. Also you can go in settings and require yourself to do it before posting. AND on here, some of it will be included with GIFS.
