As for the rest, don't worry. I'm just venting and doing fine enough all things considering. Thank you for lendingan ear! :)

I'll start again in January probably. Bsky is my little art corner on the intranets, but there was no time for art stuff at all. Sooo... yeah. I reduced it to a weekly tech news recap platform for now.

Oh, they took care of it for me: got banned for bot behavior. After not using it for 2m or so. Right now I'm not really using socials to begin with, so I never noticed Bsky dropping off. Home renovation, new job role, folks with health issues, lost someone... kind of a shit year to be blunt. :/

Among chromium browsers it's the most complete and least RAM intensive one imho. Well, used to be. App tower gone, forced corner view with frame, Share gone, integrated calculator gone... Now it's just a cluttered Copilot hub! I'm back to Firefox, but it's so slow by comparison! 😞

All the bad things afterwards came from people that worked and studied under MS and Activision, though. It can go both ways. My prediction: I imagine SP to be decent. Not amazing, but good. MP however is going to be infested by battle-passes and microtranactions worse than anything 343i ever did.

000

ADE | MarcDesign 🍇 [HIATUS] @marcdesign.it · 22/09/2026

Sure. But I'm not saying it will happen, I'm saying let's prepare for the worse.

ADE | MarcDesign 🍇 [HIATUS] @marcdesign.it · 22/09/2026

. . . :/ Sadness aside, Play10 Games? Turn Playground? Team Turn 10 as a PGG sub-studio? The end of an era in any case!

ADE | MarcDesign 🍇 [HIATUS] @marcdesign.it · 22/09/2026

It ain't good, but it ain't worse to what we have now either imho. I feel worse for Rare frankly. Can you imagine them getting reduced to yet another CoD support studio? 👀

Something that’s really been gnawing at my mind for a while is how much the art community feels scattered. So I think it would be fun to do an #art share at least once a month. Let’s kick it off. Share your art, like and comment on the posts of others, and get more art in your feed!

It's the file sizes being shown in GB when the threshold is surpassed btw. And it's such a nothing burger, it ain't even funny! 🙄 I'll admit however, having options would be better!

ADE | MarcDesign 🍇 [HIATUS] @marcdesign.it · 18/08/2026

It required it as a fresh start, cause the Metro UI in 8 sucked. Simple as that! 😂 Win10 did recycled a lot from 8.1 from what I can remember, so I see where you're coming from. But again, fresh start and all. I honestly get it why they went for the 10 rebranding so quickly.

If we're talking Halo the fault lies solely on MS and 343i. I don't see the same negativity for The Coalition or Fable, quite the opposite. With a broader scope, Sony is pulling a Xone with physical, price hikes, underwhelming reveal of Wolverine...) - That's deserved as well. Indie is love. 💜💚

I know, but at least it got a (well, almost) total UIX and CI overhaul. That's reasonable enough to justify a new version number. A handful of features imho do not.

100

ADE | MarcDesign 🍇 [HIATUS] @marcdesign.it · 17/08/2026

Yep, they did and then some! Plus Edge is losing all its, well... Edge with the last few updates. Drop and its fairly low RAM usage for a Chrome browser are the features that hold me in, but drop is going away now, so once more I'm looking for alternatives. :/

000

ADE | MarcDesign 🍇 [HIATUS] @marcdesign.it · 11/08/2026

This. I don't like the color, but design wise it was quite good and sturdy for its time. The Samsung Z Fold by comparison feeks flimsy frankly! And I love the Galaxy line. That said, the black Surface Phone looks a hell lot better.

100

ADE | MarcDesign 🍇 [HIATUS] @marcdesign.it · 04/08/2026

Nice to have I guess, but I would have preferred if they kept the tower and options to disable the horrible frame. Drop will be, well, dropped soon too. I'm looking for a new browser frankly. Sadly most options have been worse so far.
