I've been around Marylanders for far too long. Had to let them know NJ sweet corn is definitely a thing. #GardenState

The Philly Union and Wrexham donated and helped create this mini-pitch at a school near my brother's house in Philly. I would love to see more of these all over the country. turf so it's softer and two size goals. This is how you make soccer for all

Everyone uses the public library! Even the National Guard and FBI people at 1000 on a Saturday. Someone has to guard the drop off vote ballot boxes and anime collections

Alec Bohm was the 6th most valuable position player, by bWAR, in his draft class. He got the most ABs, homers and an All Star selection. Wasn't a bad draft pick but a great reminder that orgs need to balance picking pro ready college players with high school kids they can develop.

Maryland is going to have to make a coaching change in the football program. These ticket prices are so low, it's clear the fan base has given up on the season. It's September. #GoTerps

Last game of the season for us. Feels like just yesterday we were at the season kickoff event. It's been another fun summer watching the @baysoxofficial.bsky.social I hope there's no MLB lockout in 2027. These smiles are what the game is supposed to be about.

Saw a Marcus Hayes column encouraging Phillies fans to appreciate Alex Bohm. Rhys oskins is having a terrible year and still has a higher OPS+

From the article. I'm trying to understand how having a license, registration, or helmet protects a rider from being hit by a driver making a left turn.

Marc Christopher @marcc856.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

Im so over Alec Bohm having a role on the #Phillies. 2-0 pitch with a chance to win th game and you pop out to third base? As a right handed batter, that's hard to do

Marc Christopher @marcc856.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

There are 50 games left in the season, with the Tigers barely not far back from their division or the Wild Card and they traded their ace. Baseball has an ownership problem that some owners want fans to think is a Dodgers problem.

I don't think Giancarlo Stanton is a Hall of Famer. He hasn't had as good a career as David Ortiz and he's not been particularly valuable as Yankee. Compared to Nelson Cruz, he's got one more season of greater than 3 bWAR

Is Trea Turner going to end up in Cooperstown? I think he can if he can churn out a few 3 WAR seasons over the next 4 years. Idk if his defense can hold up to let him create that value but he's not far off the modern HoF standard for shortstops

This has nothing to do with the quality of food that's being served but I hate that restaurants in Ward 7 can't break out of the carryout model. There aren't enough seats to justify the space and no beer or wine.

I had Korean corn dogs for the first time today in Centreville, VA. They were a delicious combination of an American staple with Korean flavors. The melting pot is the oft used metaphor for America but we're really a chef's salad. All the flavors coming together

The tree that fell in front of my house really did a great job of blocking sunlight coming into my living room and kitchen in the afternoons. Gonna take a long time for a replacement to do half the job of providing shade.

I'm ready for the Phillies to move on from Alec Bohm. It's one thing to be a slightly below defensive third basemen who at least hits doubles. He can't handle fastballs anymore, doesn't barrel up the ball, and is grounding into double plays on a nightly basis because he's got no pull size power

The Flyers, who won a 6 game series in the first round, have been schedule to play 2 games in the 2nd round before the Sabres and Canadiens play their first game. That makes no sense to me.

Based on the numbers, Florida should have more Republican representatives than Democrats but there is not way it should be a 20-4. Heck looking at the registration around the 2020 census, you would think the split should have been closer. dos.fl.gov/elections/da...
