Finally sharing this great news: I have been awarded an European Southern Observatory (ESO) fellowship in Chile to develop my own research project. ESO, the foremost ground-based astronomical organization, designs, builds, and operates the world’s most advanced telescopes. (1/ )

New paper out! 🌟 Runaway stars interact with the interstellar medium (gas and dust of within the Galaxy) as they move with high velocities. These interactions heat the medium and create amazing structures, called stellar bow shocks, that can be seen in the infrared (1/)
