marcares.bsky.social @marcares.bsky.social · 11/10/2026What is the new American Dream? Is it to live in a tiny house, grow veggies and raise chickens? To be off grid with solar power? To be self sustainable? To feel safe and secure? 000
marcares.bsky.social @marcares.bsky.social · 11/09/2026At the time of 9/11, I was negotiating thorny business relationships for clients who were obstinately holding their ground. Within the week after 9/11, all parties became very reasonable and reconciled very disparate positions with grace and fortitude. 000
marcares.bsky.social @marcares.bsky.social · 11/09/202625 years ago today, I made an early morning phone call to my client in NYC and the call could not be completed because ALL the circuits were busy. I then drove my son to school and we heard the news on the radio. I did not know whether to drop him off or take him home. I dropped him off. 001

marcares.bsky.social @marcares.bsky.social · 07/07/2026Am deeply appreciating the photos and art being posted on Bluesky! As artists begin dwelling in downtrodden neighborhoods, renewal often follows. Perhaps artists will initiate the renewal of our country! Keep posting! 020

marcares.bsky.social @marcares.bsky.social · 17/03/2026Do you see this clearly? We need to be interdependent, supportive, tolerant, cohesive, learning and participating in life for the good of all living beings. Leaders who crush others are severely short sighted. Crushed people and ecosystems are not much good for anyone in the long run. 020

marcares.bsky.social @marcares.bsky.social · 28/06/2025Headlines say that the stock market has closed at a record high. marcares.bsky.social @marcares.bsky.social · 23/02/2025Good morning! I am watching as Canadians sell their winter homes in Arizona, and legit US immigrant-citizens move back to South Korea and Mexico.
