Does anyone have recommendations for three-ring TCG binder replacement pages? I'm looking for top-loaders, so they quit flying out while people turn my trade binder's pages, and ideally for them to be fillable from both sides. I liked Dragon Shield's but can't find top-loading.

Last week I ran a 12 hour, 40 person Magic: the Gathering event at the Mojang office! Coworkers, friends, and local industry devs brought food and showed off their Easter-themed decks. We had a raffle with fabulous prizes, including Minecraft-themed tokens and playmats!

Here are some Ender Dragon attempts from when I poked at it in 2022. Just way too overcomplicated, committed to expressing the thing mechanically like I was designing in the Ice Age years. Eventually I learned to keep it short and sweet, but still capturing the essence so you "get it".

Haha, I tried really hard to template that one correctly! I think it's as close to being correct as it can for a line of text that hasn't been written that way before. Sadly there are currently only eight valid cards to discount in those colors.

I've got a little pile of these from over the years. My Ender Dragon design has slimmed down considerably. I have a Wurmcoil Engine-inspired spider jockey. I made lots of planechase planes. I even made a set of basic lands, including ones in Swedish so that I can have an island simply called "Ö".

I forgot to post the results of this after it went at Desert Bus this year, but the Minecraft tokens and signed playmats I put together raised over two thousands dollars for Child's Play!

Shiny Mega Charizard Y is some peak pokemon. That blue black aesthetic makes me want to get someone to alter a Sivitri as an Ash and Charizard, but I'd probably have to explain the bit every time.

PS, I love the work that you and Matt have done over the years. I understand the complexity driving these things and holding it all together in a streamlined way is quite the task. Other games having undefined answers for interactions has made me appreciate it all the more.

And I do understand some of the pitfalls with doing this- the rules need a single source of truth, what if the resource oversimplifies and causes a split understanding... It's just that this game-making set of rules leads to seemingly game-breaking interactions that are casually unintuitive.

This makes me sad, but as an event organizer I'm glad to hear about experiences so I know what behavior to be on the lookout for, and maybe quietly disrupt. I wouldn't want to have players feel like they had to establish credentials, and a bunch of ours are new anyway! No room for gatekeeping.

Shouting into the void: Commander decks over the years have featured oversized commanders, which I don't get, and thick commanders, the same size as the actual commander card. But since they can do an alternate, not-legal commander, could we start getting some lenticular cards or something neat?

Hear me out: for Universes Beyond, keep the ones that really don't have a Magic vibe like Spider-Man or Doctor Who to commander decks, scene boxes, and the like. While I don't *love* UB in standard, mostly due to the prices, I don't mind as much if we get, say, Elder Scrolls rather than Marvel.
