I get why Stephen King is called a Horror author but the main thing his books give me are depression. Totally unrelated I finished reading Cujo

I am readimg Cujo for the first time, not far yet, but. Why the f*ck is that dog on my cover the wrong breed? Is that breed to chill to make a angry photo of them?

I watched the Resident Evil movie. I felt that protagonist so much. This is how I speak as I play.... and at work.

Hello Bluesky, another year, another Intro Post! I am Maranio/Jess. I am a 26yo comic creator and artist from Germany. And I never stop creating. It's a problem #art

Artwork in the Dark Frost from Warrior cats, a red Forest with the Moon glowing. My character Icethaw, a ghost, is laying on a stone, grinning down and offering stars in his paws. Goldeneye is below him, looking up with a worried expression

A woman with one bright blue eye, the other eye under eyepatch. red wild hair and a big scar across her face. She seems to be growling. she is wearing redish robes and has a golden necklace with a blue stone in the middle. One of her arms is out strechted holding a silver staff with some blue stones. Her other hand is on a ghostly white wolf snuggling into said hand. behind them is one wolf with a goofy expression, in front is a wolf getting ready to attack something we dont see. on the left behind them we barely at the corner see golden branches, golden rays of live come from that tree not seen fully, on the right is the crescent moon

A Graveyard by night, the moon is shining. At the front, laying on a tombstone is a cat with a skull head, smiling and eyes glowing

Comic with the lyrics from the Song, the devil Train. Showing d3rlord3 walking determined through the cave with "Follow me, Follow me", going through the gate with "And it got louder, follow me, follow me" and finally discovering the King in Yellow in shock with "I have something to show you"

How cringe is it to make a Elden Ring non Tarnished OC, combined with Item descriptions of her stuff, who is part of the Moghwyn Dynasty and then is a summon in the Promised Consort Radahn fight, and then make ton of self indulge Moghwyn Dynasty found family stuff? As well as fix it style stuff

"I liked Song Of Achilles good enough I think I will save Circe for last so I can finish the greek retellings I have on a good note" oh sweet summer child I was. 💀 (if you like this book I am sorry. I am trying) All the other retellings really made me realise I like Jennifer Saints books actually

I lowkey want to do a Samurai Run in Elden Ring after my current run but I think I force myself not to. Lol. Maybe in the future to do the Frenzy Ending. But NOT this year. I want at the very least play the Kingdom Hearts games through before that. And I have a few other games planned before that.

Maranio @maranio.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

I swear I played Elden Ring like 7 hours straight today. I stopped right were Melina joined again. And realised the air is gone for today. Haha. Oh well. Probably wont take long to get the main game through now. Then I will do the DLC. Finally..which I never did before

I need this energy going forward because it’s so hard for me to stay positive about anything art related at my current age.🥲

Four panel comic. Are you sleeping? Yes, now shut up… Tolkien didn’t start LotR until he was 45, you’re doing just fine….

Debating if I want to draw my Banner or keep it like this? I think I keep it for now till I am more comfortable drawing people.Sure Jay is wearing the wrong clothes. (Listen as a design I liked the clothes but ingame I wanted fancier stuff to look at) but I think it works. Besides Ranni is so pretty

I am about to turn into a pure Elden Ring artist I fear. At least till I get my comic ready to be posted which could take... a bit? Listen I saw tragic stuff about Miquella and been on a Elden Ring brain rot ever since I am not normal about it

What’s an art goal of yours for August? Mine is mainly to finish my two zine paintings bc they’re due soon haha, but beyond that I really want to practice colors more! Either with some small studies or more thumbnails~

I want to start doing more human character art. Which for me means. Give my Elden Ring character a ref and draw her lots. Also technically not art goal I think? But I want to get most of the script for my prose comic done so I can start it this year. The outline for 42 chapters is done already

Prince Oren and their version of The Hollow Knight for frolicinq #art #artfight

Its raining, in the background we see the City of Tears from hollow knight, but its foggy, we see a bridge and a fence in the back, then the statue of the tall Hollow knight, his bug mask and in armor. In front, a creature with also a white horned mask, furred in a cape, crying, holding up his clawed hand to his face in confusion, thinking its the rain he is feeling, he has a sword in the back.

Well okay I MIGHT read more Jennifer Saint, even if I dislike some of the character work. The "poetry" of the text? It reads itself nice.

000

Maranio @maranio.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

I still own 3 unread Greek Myth Retellings and I will just read them back to back and not touch that genre again. I will read like... translation of the og texts at some point. But thats it. The genre burned me out for now and most are... not well written I feel like.
