Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Man, it wasn't subtle that Kyoko was falling in love with Ren here🤔. After all, she says the same thing Kuon says about his feelings (not wanting anyone to know)😅 Welp, this concludes the Dark Moon arc🔥🔥 #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko is shaken as she takes the stone back🤔

She thinks she'll fall into an evil spell if she took it back🤔

Ren takes Kyoko back to get lunch🔥🔥
Kyoko's narration continues as she claims she wants no one to know what effect the "spell" had on her🤔

However, she says the only spell that should be cast is the acting for Katsuki once Dark Moon surpasses Tsukigomori🔥🔥

That visual gag of the speech bubble knocking Kyoko's head is so damn fuunny🤣🤣. I don't think they'd be able to translate that in anime form😭😭 #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko stares blankly, which confuses Ren🤔

Ren's speech bubble knocks on Kyoko's head, which surprises Kyoko🤣🤣

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Damn, smooth there buddy🔥🔥 Also, I didn't point this out for some reason, but Kuon is basically saying he thinks of Kyoko as magic he believes in💜💜. Like, that's pretty romantic🌺🌸🌺🌸 #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko is stunned as Kuon does something🤔

Kuon kisses the stone as he states Kyoko is the true magic he believes in💜💜

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Man, I want a full flashback with these two, we've only seen them in fragments😭😭 Also also, this scene is remastered in the Heel Siblings/Tragic Marker arc, where we finally see Kuon's face👍 #SkipBeatYapping

Flashback of Kuon "flying" for Kyoko, who claps in excitement💜💜

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Ugh, stop, they're too cute for this world😭😭🔥🔥!!! (Damn, they're lowkey sharing custody of the stone) #SkipBeatYapping

Ren tells Kyoko she should keep it, since it's her treasure💜💜

Kuon gives a soft smile as his hand twitches🤔

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

2 things: 1) Nakamura really teased that Kuon could've told her in this moment😭😭 2) I think it's sweet that Kyoko was willing to give the stone to Ren if he was feeling sad❤️‍🩹 (Also, sorry about the first pic, I moved too soon😭😭) #SkipBeatYapping

Ren gives Kyoko the stone, which makes Kyoko tell Ren he can keep it for a bit longer❤️‍🩹

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Naww, that's so cute😭😭💜💜. Kuon really needed to hear that at least one person has his back🔥🔥 #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko says that Corn was born to be a king, which shocks Ren🤔

Kyoko gives a speech on how kings are good leaders, and Corn is capable of doing that now bc he was too young to do all that before❤️‍🩹

Kyoko says "Corn can do it for sure" as Kuon looks at Kyoko with awe💜💜

Kuon looks taken aback by Kyoko's positivity, as he looks down🤔

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

A friend told me Kyoko sounds lowkey down bad for Corn in that first imagine, which I can definitely see🤔 Also, the wing behind Kyoko kinda makes me think of the Immortal Butterfly thing they talk about later🤔 God, I love whenever Kyoko calls Ren out for being a Negative Nancy🤣🤣 #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko says Corn might be a "fine grownup" now, since it's been 10 years💜💜
There's also a wing behind Kyoko, probably seen as foreshadowing for Kyoko being an Immortal Butterfly💜💜

Kyoko continues to say Corn must be really amazing rn, which Ren decides to be a downer (much to Kyoko's annoyance)💜💜🤣

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I love how Kyoko can effortlessly break the tension🤣🤣 #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko in LaLa Mode as she tells an imaginary fairy Corn how to fly, which confuses Ren🤣🤣

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Really puts into perspective how much Kuon told Kyoko about his problem, but in a much flowery way💔 Hey look, it's that flashback form earlier😭😭 #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko recites what Corn told her about how his wings broke💔
There is emphasis on how Corn didn't feel he could fly freely in the sky, as we look af a defeated "Ren"❤️‍🩹

Flashback to Little Kyoko crying as she tells Little Kuon she feels sorry for him❤️‍🩹

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Skip Beat, the manga that uses fairies and fairytale talk as a metaphor😭😭 #SkipBeatYapping

Ren asks Kyoko if Corn REALLY flew🤔
Kyoko gets nervous bc she says he sorr of did "but not for a long time"💔

Kyoko says Corn couldn't help it bc he didn't grow his wings💔
Kuon gives a sad look💔

Kyoko admits Corn *technically* grew his wings, but they broke every time he flew too high💔

Bc his father's hands accidentally caught his wings💔

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I love how Kuon immediately crumbles in a matter of seconds🤣🤣 I also love how angwy Kyoko looks that Ren made fun of her🤣🤣 #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko shouting that Corn is REALLY a fairy😤😤
Ren says he totally believes her🤣🤣
They stare at each other for a few seconds (Ren is defiant and Kyoko is pouting)...

Until Kuon can't take it anymore and barks in laughter🤣🤣

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Ren immediately turning serious after having the most unflattering laugh so Kyoko doesn't notice he's making fun of her always sends me to orbit🤣🤣 #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko telling Ren about how Corn described his parents:
Mother (most beautiful fairy in existence) and Father (is so big that he can hold the whole country in his hands)💜💜
Kuon is still shook at what Kyoko told him🤣🤣

Kuon proceeds to hold back the most unflattering laugh, as Kyoko hears this🤣🤣

Kyoko turns to look, only for Ren to turn serious🤣🤣
She proceeds to accuse him for laughing, which Ren says he TOTALLY wasn't🤣🤣

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

This "reveal" always makes me laugh🤣🤣 I just love how gobsmacked Ren/Kuon looks as he realizes Kyoko STILL fucking believed his fucking lie after a whole ass decade🤣🤣 (The "fly" also kills me🤣🤣) #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko tells a somewhat scared Ren that there was a reason Corn only saw her in secret, it's bc....

He was a prince from Fairyland🤣🤣
Ren has officially had his mind blown😭😭

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I love how excited Kyoko gets when she's in "La La Land" Mode🤣🤣 I also love how much amusement Kuon gets from it bc it shows him Kyoko hasn't changed much🤣🤣 #SkipBeatYapping

Kuon being kinda shook Kyoko told him it's "magic"🤣🤣
He pretends not to know, which prompts Kyoko to start going deeper into Lala Mode🤣🤣

Kyoko excitedly telling him the stone absorbed his negative feelings, as Kuon remembers Kyoko got THIS excited when he said it was magic🤣🤣

Kyoko in LaLa Mode, as Kuon starts to giggle🤣🤣

Kyoko gets kinda peeved Ren doesn't believe her, which prompts "Ren" to say he totally believes her🤣🤣

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Help, Kuon being sentimental is pretty cute💜💜 Also, I love Kyoko was more concerned about looking stupid if Ren didn't follow her lead🤣🤣 #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko stares at Ren in confusion as he stares at her🤣🤣

Kyoko tells Ren to follow her lead, or she'll look stupid🤣🤣
Kuon reveals he was getting sentimental from how the situation is flipped💜💜

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

It's sweet seeing Kyoko try to cheer up Ren in any way she thinks she can💜💜 #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko admits to Ren that she saw he looked like was having a hard time❤️‍🩹

Kyoko remembers the look on Ren's face❤️‍🩹

Kyoko continues by saying she believes the Corn stone would help him, as she demonstrates how to use it💜💜

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

God, it's always funny seeing Ren pretend he doesn't know what Kyoko is talking about🤣🤣 Also, I love how Ren got scared Kyoko found out, until she said he picked it up for her🤣🤣 #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko asking Ren if he remembers the stone, which scares Kuon for a split second🤣🤣

Until Kyoko reminds him that he picked it up for her at the agency🤣🤣

Awww, this cover is so cute😭😭💜💜. I love how soft Kyoko looks here🌸🌺🌸🌺 #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko with long hair and a frilly dress smiling as a fairy whispers to her💜💜

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Nice🔥🔥. This panel goes so hard😤😤🔥🔥!! Unfortunately, we have ONE MORE CHAPTER AFTER THIS😭😭!! I mean it's convenient bc Helluva season is approaching, but man, this was such a sweet journey😭😭 #SkipBeatYapping

Lory looks out the limo as he claims Shuhei (Kuu) is about to lose to Kuon (his son)🔥🔥

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Awww, stop it, they're so cute😭😭💜💜!!! Also, I love the parallel as Kyoko gives Kuon the stone💜💜 #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko approaches Ren and asks him to open his hand, which he does in confusion🤔

Kyoko places something in his hands, which you can tell what it is based on how the panel is framed💜💜

Much to Kuon's surprise, Kyoko gave him the Corn stone💜💜

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Nice serious speech about Kuon's character as we seeing Kyoko and Ren meet up💜💜 #SkipBeatYapping

Lory analyzing Kuon's character when thinking about the role for Katsuki❤️‍🩹. He knew Kuon understood Katsuki's dark side, but not his feelings of love❤️‍🩹

But now he understands both parts, which means Kuon is now being himself as he plays Katsuki🤔
Cut to outside, where Kyoko approaches Ren with something in her hands❤️‍🩹

011

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

This is the second time we see Kuon's pained expression on the topic of companionship💔 #SkipBeatYapping

Lory claims Kuon would rather fall for someone like Kyoko, bc it makes it convenient for him to put them at arms length💔

Kuon gives the same pained expression from chapters ago❤️‍🩹

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Help, the President's reaction kills me every time🤣🤣. Also, Lory srsly asking Kuon if he loves Hell that much🤣🤣 Sorry, Prez. They have a beautiful connection that no one but these two know about👍 #SkipBeatYapping

Lory observes that Kyoko is walking in a figure 8 formation to summon comrades🤣🤣

Lory happily claims Kyoko is waiting for Ren💜💜

Lory becomes horrified as he realizes Ren is in love with Kyoko🤣🤣

Lory asks Kuon if he just LOVES pain so much if fell for the girl that hates love, which confuses Ren🤣🤣.
Lory makes his point by shoving a mirror in Kuon's face, as Kuon decides to fix his face🤣🤣

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

God, I love that the scenes atmosphere changed bc Kyoko got added to the equation🤣🤣 Doesn't escape me that Kuon's expression lightened up more when he saw Kyoko🔥🔥 #SkipBeatYapping

Lory is proud... but pauses bc he sees something🤣🤣

Ren is confused until Lory shows him Kyoko is outside walking in circles🤣🤣

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Kyoko keeps up the trend of knowing more about Kuon than anyone expects😭😭❤️‍🩹 #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko peeking at the limo until she sees...

Kyoko looks shocked as we cut back to inside the limo, as Lory encourages Ren to let Kuon out for a bit when filming Dark Moon, since it could be practice to accepting himself❤️‍🩹

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Awww, that's pretty sweet of you, Kyoko😭😭❤️‍🩹 #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko investigating on what's taking Ren and the President so long😭😭

Kyoko claims she's here to make sure Ren gets back to eat before anyone leaves😭😭

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

It's bittersweet that Kuon still blames himself, when those close to him (like the President) don't reprimand him for connecting with the part of himself that he hates❤️‍🩹 #SkipBeatYapping

Lory says he isn't mad at Ren for bringing out Kuon bc he believes this is a good thing (kinda like rehab)🤔

Lory says Ren/Kuon did it to win against Shuhei Hozu and keep his job❤️‍🩹

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Oooooo.... shit😬. I remember feeling shocked at how dark/tense the story got when I read the manga. *snickers* Well, Mara was gonna be in a much bigger surprise several arcs later🫠 #SkipBeatYapping

Lory asking Ren why he isn't happy about this news🤔

Since Kuon was the one making a sacrifice to keep his job💔

Lory explains that dark look was from Kuon's old self💔

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Loving the juxtaposition of how the conversation with Ogata had a positive atmosphere, while the atmosphere in the limo is tense❤️‍🩹 #SkipBeatYapping

Lory asking Ogata what he thought of Ren's acting🤔

Lory says Ogata told him "I'll leave everything in", much to a shocked Ren🤔

Lory explains Ogata will modify the script🤔

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

It's pretty sweet seeing Lory back up Ogata on his choice💜💜. Also, don't think I don't see the smile Lory has when Ogata said Ren WAS Katsuki🔥🔥 #SkipBeatYapping

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Nakamura is diabolical, cuz what do you mean she made another angle for the almost kiss💀 #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko saying Momose couldn't help it bc even if Ren is acting, it makes you get caught off guard🤔

Image depicting moments before Kuon almost kissed her💀

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I find it funny they labeled the grudges as "the evil ones"🤣🤣 Man, I miss the grudges😭😭 #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko describing the smile as something that extinguished evil, as the grudges run away🤣🤣

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Oof, poor Momose💀. Too bad I won't comment on the scene bc it's not in the Dark Moon arc🫠. #SkipBeatYapping

Momose looks confused as they bring the camera bc she doesn't know why everyone loved the performance🤔

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Kyoko, I love you sweetie, but this is the one time you kinda annoyed me😭😭 Gotta admit, this intense denial with a demonic look was a bit too much for my tastes🤷‍♀️ #SkipBeatYapping

Yashiro playfully teases Kyoko about Ren, which sets her off and causes her to angrily and aggressively deny whatever Yashiro claimed💀

Kyoko gets confused when Yashiro claims she's overreacting to his teasing😬

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Lol, Prez is such an alcoholic🤣🤣. Also, not the tease of Kuon being a wild teenager (who tended to break the laws)💀 #SkipBeatYapping

Kuon refuses alcohol from the President, who claims that it was for himself🤣🤣

Lory claims Kuon has mellowed out since his teen years, which makes Kuon interrupt him😭😭

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

I feel for Kyoko here bc it's only been a few months, and a broken heart like her's still needs to be healed❤️‍🩹. Especially when it's resulted from someone she trusted, it makes you not want to trust someone again🫠. #SkipBeatYapping

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

God, I'll never stop loving Kyoko's extreme reactions🤣🤣 Also, poor Yashiro believes there's no hope for Ren🤣🤣 Don't worry, Yashiro, Ren gets his chance when the pandemic hits😭😭 #SkipBeatYapping

Yashiro thinks Kyoko's shocked look is her being jealous, but Kyoko expresses fear (which confuses Yashiro)🤣🤣

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Should be noted that Yashiro didn't say the first part out loud, meaning Kyoko never learned ppl still fall for Ren outside of being his costar🫠 #SkipBeatYapping

Yashiro claims everyone has fallen for Ren, including Momose. However, Kyoko took the "everyone" as "every costar", not realizing Yashiro means that in a general way😭😭

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Lol, poor Yashiro has to deal with Kyoko's outbursts🤣🤣. Only one person developed an immunity to them🤣🤣 #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko starts hearing out of nowhere, which surprises Yashiro bc the cheering was over🤣🤣

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Yep, there's some complicated feelings here💔 Kyoko is jealous of Momose bc Ren complimented her for her talent, which is something Kyoko wants bc she wants to be of equal footing with Ren❤️‍🩹 However, she's afraid she might fall for him🫠 #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko thinks to herself that she doesn't wanna spill about what was bugging her to Ren🤔

Kyoko desires to be good enough to act with Ren, but is scared of acting opposite of him😭😭

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Help, I love that Kuon got offended that Kyoko refused to tell him🤣🤣 #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko takes a step back from Ren as she claims she's fine🤣🤣

Kuon then gets kinda offended and asks her why she backed away from him just now🤣🤣

Kyoko gets nervous as she says she just happened to back away and to pls not worry🤣🤣
Ogata appeared to pop the tension🤣🤣

Kuon gives one last glance to Kyoko and walks away🤔.
Ogata asks Kyoko if he interrupted something, but Kyoko claims he didn't interrupt anything🤷‍♀️

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Awww, Ren bending down to look at Kyoko is my favorite genre of RenKyo/KuonKyo💜💜 #SkipBeatYapping

Kyoko zoning out in the middle of the conversation, which Kuon/Ren notices💜💜

Ren (er Kuon) asks Kyoko if she's not feeling well, which stuns her🤔

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

This is max level fangirling🔥🔥. I don't blame Ohara, I'm like this when I read Skip Beat (and watch Helluva Boss)🔥🔥 #SkipBeatYapping

000

Maranette (🤪GIF WIELDER😜) @maranettekitz03.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Ah, I love how we kinda have an explanation for Kuon being nice to women🤔. It's just natural to him bc of who his parents are😭😭 #SkipBeatYapping

Lory noticing Ren is naturally friendly towards women, possibly bc of his blood🤷‍♀️

000
