Meet Celeste! This is gonna be a sort of official introduction to her - She's the protagonist of Polarity Skies! She is the Starlight Guardian Knight, part of a group of semi-immortal warriors of the goddess Elysia #kjocs #polarityskies #ocsky #originalcharacter #furry #anthro #kemono #psceleste

Art reference of my OC Celeste. She’s a cat girl with pink hair and purple eyes with a white dress, her main artwork has her holding a large sword. There are various sketches of her in various outfits and expressions.
The text describing her personality reads:
“Selected by the goddess Elysia to prevent the end of the world, Celeste takes her sworn duty with an intense dedication that it seems her other passions are lost. Her virtuous demeanor is seen as admirable to some, but smug and self-righteous to others. Friendly and agreeable, her desperate desire to be liked makes her hide a lot of herself in order to be palatable, and struggles with her sense of self.”

this guy thinks hes gonna be the next big idol 🙄

digital art of the same tans masculine miku from the quoted art, this time with a matching trans masculine kasane teto. this teto has the same bangs and ahoge in his hair as the original, but instead of twin hair drill curls, i gave him grey flared pants with red/pink stripes on the calf to mimic the drill curls. his hair is instead more on the shaggy boyish side in the back. he also has 2 side straps like the masc miku, and a small trans flag button attached to one. everything else about the design is basically the same. he stands with a hand on his hip and one hand lifted up and pointing a thumb at himself. he has a confident smile on his face.

finally finished a ref for my oc Thorn!! been pretty obsessed with it lately ngl gnjdfkg #ocsky #artistsonbluesky

a reference page with a single fullbody. Thorn, the oc in question, wears a white t shirt and dark grey jacket, ripped red jeans, and brown and grey steel toed boots. Off to the side are references for its spiked bat and baseball cap, which it almost always wears. Also present is a reference of the scar on its shoulder, with its chest covered.

more #artfight attacks i forgot to upload!! this one is an attack on my partner @jchroma.bsky.social of their oc Apolaeon who i am completely and totally normal about #art #artistsonbluesky #originalcharacter #blood #mildgore

Eon floats in front of a stained glass window background, one side of his body heavily lit while the other side is shadowed quite heavily. he holds a gleaming ball of light in one hand, and a literal pound of flesh in the other. the shaded part of his body is stained with blood as a missing texture halo and sword of damocles hang above his head.

dnd celeste and co. that started out as warm up doodles and then i kept thinking about it and really wanted to finish it lol #kjocs #polarityskies #ocsky #originalcharacter #furry #kemono

Uncolored sketches of Celeste, Laz, and Rosella as dnd characters. text reads: Celeste is an Oath of Devotion Paladin, eventually she breaks her oath lol. Laz is an Undying Warlock, his patron is Ambrose obviously. Rosella is a battlemaster fighter, she can use weapons but prefers unarmed combat.

Uncolored sketches of Sylvain, Flash, Lyra, and Orion as dnd characters. text reads: Sylvain is an oathbreaker paladin. Formerly Elysia's soldier (so basically regular canon lol). Flash is an artillerist artificer. Technological geek with a penchant for electric-based weapons. Lyra is a school of necromancy wizard, and Orion is her undead bestie. Orion died and Lyra said "no you didn't."

Artists feel pressured to make new art too quickly at the moment. Normalise artists fucking disappearing for months. Just walk off into the woods for a year and come back with a single sketch. It’s good for you

These old ocs of mine haven’t left my mind quite yet so more of these silly dudes feat. their alien friend that joins them on their journey 🪐 #kjocs #ocsky

My OCs Grant (glasses, light brown hair, blue space suit) and Ross (black hair, red space suit) simultaneously thinking about Grant confessing to Ross—saying “I really like you Ross! Like a lot!” Both of them are having the same thought: “There’s no way he remembers that. That was like 15 years ago”

Mini comic, Xaria (a teal furred bipedal mammalian alien creature with long ears and a tail) walking into the ship with a navigation device. She says, “Okay boys, I got the coordinates set up for our next destination!” The next panel cuts to Grant and Ross in a scuffle, with Ross on top of Grant.
Xaria, unenthused, says “Ah. Are you two finally confessing your love or something?”
The two yell out “We’re fighting!”
Next panel is Xaria rolling her eyes and says “Same difference with you two.” Grant says “A fight he’s totally losing, by the way.” Ross yells out “HOW”

you can draw a pre-existing character fat/with a few extra pounds and people without an original thought will assume it's fetish work because they can't comprehend the idea of fat people existing in a manner that isn't derogatory.

My monster design entry for the #monstermayhem contest that was run by @fourleafisland.art and @frogcroaks.bsky.social back in october!! This is The Haven Crawler (aka The Crab) which ended up winning Lemmy's judges choice!! #artistsonbluesky #monster #art

An encyclopedia style reference sheet for a creature called the haven crawler. The text reads:

"The Haven Crawler (Adenium Mimitis) is a land dwelling desert crab typically found within desert oases. It is an ambush predator that mimics rare desert flowers to lure in its prey. It is one of the most venemous creatures known to mankind.

Fig 1: A fully grown Haven Crawler. Soft, fleshy petals frame a set of four way split eyelids. Its bright, hard shelled carpace and spindly barbed legs are designed to easily burrow into the sand.

Fig. 2: Size when compared to the average fully grown human.

Fig. 3a: The Haven Crawler lures its prey by burying itself belly up in the sand, leaving only its head and tail visible. Thinking they have found an easy meal, herbivorous rodents and other desert creatures will approach to try to eat the pair of flowers.

Fig. 3b: By the time its prey approaches to try and nibble at its petals, their fate is already sealed. The closed flower bud bursts open, revealing the creature's mouth. Its long, sharp tongue shoots out and pierces the skin of its prey, envenomating it and often killing it before
it can even feel the pain. Its venom also serves a dual
purpose - liquifying its prey's insides to then be slurped
out like the world's most messed up juice box.

Fig. 4: While the Haven Crawler's usual prey tends to be small rodents and other various desert creatures, it is more than capable of killing humans as well. It has adapted to prey on unaware tourists and travelers who try to pick its flowers or get a bit too close for a photo. It is all too common to find dried out corpses near patches of flowers and plant life, no matter how much effort is made to warn people. It's said that if you get stung by a Haven Crawler, you will be dead before you even hit the ground."

Images:
Fig 1: A reference of the Haven Crawler.
Fig 2: A height reference.
Fig 3a & 3b: A demonstration of how the crawler hunts.
Fig 4: A human who fell prey to the crawler.
