Watching Cena turn heel was absolutely crazy.

Hey friends. I need some feedback! This is a character in a custom Hero based #TTRPG I am running soon. It's set in my #Fantasy world New Light. I am making 5 custom characters, each will be able to spend 4 energy per turn. Do these moves make sense? What additional information should be here?

Corey (MapsByCK) @mapsbyck.bsky.social · 22/02/2025

These are great? How balanced are they?

Corey (MapsByCK) @mapsbyck.bsky.social · 20/02/2025

Love it! Are all your campaigns custom?

Corey (MapsByCK) @mapsbyck.bsky.social · 17/02/2025

Lol. I'm not sure what they make yet. It might be toys tho. Haven't got that far yet. 🤣

Located just east of the Valley of Giants, this Christmas-themed village is anything but magical. It is home to the Krampus-inspired goat people, who enslave the halflings from the south and force them to work in their workshops. #ChristmasTown #Fantasy #WorldBuilding #MapMaking

A seemingly innocent Christmas-themed village located just east of the Valley of Giants. This village is home to the Krampus and halflings.

Onward is a very underrated Pixar movie. The worldbuilding is cute and the characters are fun.

When creating unique races, it’s a challenge to balance drawing inspiration from human cultures while also making sure they feel distinct and true to their own identity, with traits that make sense for them.

"IronLight is the largest settlement of Dwarves in my world, amassing enormous wealth by selling light rocks, gunpowder, and other valuable minerals to the pirates and cowboys who inhabit the northern territories. #WorldBuilding #WritingCommunity #DnD #TableTop #MapMaking #Fantasy

The majestic Dwarven capital of IronLight stands as the largest and most fortified settlement of Dwarves in New Light. Carved into the heart of a towering obsidian mountain, IronLight serves as a strategic stronghold, nestled between the legendary Valley of Giants and vast, fertile fields. This epic city is a beacon of Dwarven resilience and craftsmanship, blending ancient traditions with cutting-edge engineering and magic.

I'm currently working on my world map for my #worldbuilding project and I'm struggling to illustrate an area of water with an infinite amount of changing islands.

Corey (MapsByCK) @mapsbyck.bsky.social · 07/02/2025

Mario's #Worldbuilding is always so fascinating to me. It's all so random, but somehow, it all fits together perfectly. It goes to show that execution of ideas is the most important.

I have never played a Wario Land, but now that it's coming to the Switch, I might have to check it out.

Remember pre covid when we used to come home and wear pants until bed instead of immediately switching to PJs. Terrible times.

I personally believe that, during these trying times, nothing would bring people closer together more than the resurgence of the Harlem Shake.

Ironlight is one of the major cities of New Light, located just south of the Valley of Giants and northeast of the Bubblewood Forest. It is home to the Light Dwarves. The River of Light cuts through the mountains, causing the rocks to glow with a powerful radiance. #WorldBuilding #Fantasy #Writing

A dwarven city at the base of a massive black mountain. To the west lies a dwarven port, and to the north is the Valley of Giants. The city is both strategically and economically valuable, rich in minerals, including light-infused rocks.

Aurora is one of the oldest cities in New Light. Somehow surviving the devastation of the Second God War, it now stands alone, isolated and covered by a dense yellow fog. Something or someone protected this city, but why? #WorldBuilding #MapMaking #WritingCommunity #Fantasy #Inkarnate

A town stands untouched in the midst of a ruined world, surrounded by a dense yellow fog. The trees emit a soft yellow glow, adding to the eerie atmosphere.

This charming intersection, once perfect for relaxation and shopping, suddenly turns tense. A scream slices through the cheerful chatter. Before you can react, a hooded figure with a glinting blade slips away into the shadows. How will you act? #dnd #battlemap #art

The Shifting Sands serves as a test for those exiled from New Light. Only the worthy can find the hidden oasis, while the guilty perish in the endless maze of dunes. #WorldBuilding #FantasyMap #TTRPG #Writing #Inkarnate

Well, at least Football won't consume my Sundays for a few months. Chiefs Eagles is boring af.

Corey (MapsByCK) @mapsbyck.bsky.social · 27/01/2025

I don't think i can watch another chiefs eagles superbowl. Not because I have anything against them, but that's literally the most boring match up of all the possible games.

Of course! I would recommend taking a look at the inkarnate subreddit. There are a ton of great creators that show off their maps and can provide inspiration.

I'm about 1/2 done revamping my world map. (Until I get that itch to do it again). Once I'm done with that, I will: 1) Start a worldbuilding news letter to highlight creators. 2) Start working on related short stories and battle maps. 3) Start a website. I'm excited to get this thing going!

The Collegiate Isles of Dosia float above a growing crater of light. Founded by a half-elf named Theodosia (yes, I named her after a Hamilton song), it is the most prestigious university in my world, accessible only by flying ships or other flying transportation. #WorldBuilding #Writing #FantasyMap

A floating college above a glowing crater. The college is surrounded by lush purple forests, a vast ocean to the south, and towering black mountains. Nearby, a few small towns and villages dot the landscape.
