you wanna know what it was the fucking HDMI cable somehow it had shorted itself and could display 640x480 or 800x600 (which BIOS and GRUB used) but could no longer display 1920x1200 swapped the cable and it booted up and worked instantly what the fuck

it was so bizarre!! I've never seen anything like it but swapping the cable meant it booted up just fine and now it's working just as well as it was before my computers have ghosts im telling you

It worked that well at the time because the internet was a lot simpler! Webpages were mostly static, memory footprints were smaller, nothing really animated and there werent a billion trackers at every turn. But I also had experience with this as i had used my Dreamcast in a similar way in 2000 lol

not really! the nunchuck was used for zooming in so it wasn't even difficult to make sure i was clicking the right thing the typing with the pointer was the roughest part but yeah you do acclimate to it REALLY quickly I remember applying for jobs through the wii browser LMAO

I lived in my brother's basement for a while (bc the alternative was being homeless) and I had no access to a PC. I used my Wii (on neighbor's wifi) for email, for using web-based AIM/MSN chats, for browsing gaiaonline and other forums, and otherwise staying connected. It basically saved my life.

i don't, it's a mini-PC that uses laptop RAM so i dont have anything handy only thing i can think of is that the GPU core just utterly failed but then again if that was the case then the bios/grub/bootloader would fail too so i have no idea
