Nivalis Nights and Cloudpunk are both such absolute vibes of games. Just instant relaxation straight to the brain for me. They hit like my favorite VRChat vibe worlds but also have a game going on in them.

Now I've gotten a message saying that some manager mismanaged commissions and stole from the studio and that this is why everything has been delayed and at this point I think maybe the studio model for vartists just inherently has serious problems and high abuse potential.

041

Aoife Sharpteeth, Werewolf Vtuber @manysharpteeth.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

This was a smaller project intended to go along with the now cancelled first attempt at a model that I still wanted to use with the interim model in the meantime, and it was commissioned with that model was still in early production (theoretically anyway).

140

Aoife Sharpteeth, Werewolf Vtuber @manysharpteeth.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

This was thankfully a much smaller commission that I also set up many months ago, but at this point I'm 2/2 on "working with a studio was a massive mistake and I only want to work directly with artists in the future".

A lot of the time it’s a balancing act to find that Venn diagram overlap between what makes me happy and what will make my community happy. There’s sometimes I’ve had to go no, I hate this, even if people like this it needs to change. But experimenting helps me find new things that we all enjoy.

0102

Aoife Sharpteeth, Werewolf Vtuber @manysharpteeth.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

It's a constant struggle to try to live this in my stream. I have to make myself happy, because if you don't love streaming you'll burn out so hard in the face of how hard the systems in place make it. But it's so hard to not constantly worry about what people will think of changes I make.

3120

Aoife Sharpteeth, Werewolf Vtuber @manysharpteeth.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

That was honestly what prompted the post for me. "We're planning a Starcraft shooter that's sounding a lot like it might do something with the space Destiny left behind. Now that you're properly excited, it's so far in the future that WHO KNOWS!"

010

Aoife Sharpteeth, Werewolf Vtuber @manysharpteeth.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

I'm still irritated that Prime 4 got delayed so much that I bought a Switch 1 for it getting announce and had a Switch 2 before it came out, but I do like that generally speaking their announcements are in 3-4 months or, occasionally, "literally today".

110

Aoife Sharpteeth, Werewolf Vtuber @manysharpteeth.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

There's things I find potentially interesting about WoW:Forever but dear gods someone over there at Blizzard has to have a SERIOUS hate for ever giving players the original high elves. The Skyborn feel like yet another "no, we'll give you yet another variant but no".

I feel like I've reached a point with video game news where if the game is more than a year away, I don't want to hear about it. If your game is 4-5 years away it has every chance of not coming out at all or being something completely different by the time it does.

When did word start spreading about the CRAB HOLE?

010

Aoife Sharpteeth, Werewolf Vtuber @manysharpteeth.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Yes, hi everyone! I’m here as the Eldritch hunger goddess to address a number of rumors regarding Samus Arans recent acquisition of super devouring powers and my supposed involvement. Let me just say right now there was no way I was turning down a tall strong baddie and a weekend on Zebes be real.

A reminder dears, that the people who label fun harmless things "cringe", or whatever other term to discourage you from participating in them, want you to be miserable. People who are miserable are easier to control, and the people who push that joyless attitude want to control you.

Aoife Sharpteeth, Werewolf Vtuber @manysharpteeth.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Honestly I think the Zelda remake looks way better in motion than in stills. It being social media I woke up today to a lot of various still captures or promo shots, but it works a lot better for me in the game in motion now that I've gotten to see the video preview itself.

Aoife Sharpteeth, Werewolf Vtuber @manysharpteeth.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

I now face the task of having to start completely over, minus over a thousand dollars that I wasn’t able to recover with the rest. I have ideas, I have a plan, but the lost time and endless stress has been brutal. Please everyone, stay safe and vet who you deal with on large comms thoroughly.

1132

Aoife Sharpteeth, Werewolf Vtuber @manysharpteeth.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Endless delays ended in broken rigging, missing assets, missing revisions that had already been agreed on, art never polished past the draft phase, poor communication, a complete lack of QC, and ultimately an unusable model. I was able to eventually get most but sadly not all of the payment.

1113

Aoife Sharpteeth, Werewolf Vtuber @manysharpteeth.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

There are some absolutely predatory studios out there, and this year I dealt with one of them. 9 months of high stress that I in my inexperience didn’t realize I should have gotten out of sooner. I urge being very wary of vartist studios and I strongly encourage only working with artists directly.
