Been missing my Oura ring post shifting to Apple Watch for tracking both fitness + sleep. Started using Autosleep (iOS app, one time $5.99 purchase) last week, and I’m surprisingly impressed. I’m really into gamification via sleep scores, readiness, trend analysis, etc, and this does it all!

Optical computing encodes data in light beams instead of electric currents. Fully Homomorphic Encryption via optical computing would reduce processing time from 1 million seconds to between 10 and 100 seconds. Added bonus: no energy consumption/CO2 emissions

Moved to NJ from India at the age of 16. Got a degree in Math, then was a Fortran programmer in the early 80s. Left the corporate world to raise 3 kids, moved to California, and now she teaches Algebra + Geometry at a high school.

Twitter used to routinely challenge Turkey’s takedown requests Erdogan actually had Twitter banned in Turkey in 2014 for refusing to comply. (the courts later ended the ban.) but that was on the “censorship” version of Twitter, not this new “free speech” one
