Manny Grillo @mannygrillo.bsky.social · 04/08/2026One of the very best opening two songs of any album in the 90s that nobody talks about: Discoteca and Single from Pet Shop Boys’ “Bilingual”. Sounds like nothing else. 000

Manny Grillo @mannygrillo.bsky.social · 20/06/2026100% this. A five star or 10/10 review used to be an event of sorts. I remember Q dropping the ball on this a few times in the late 90s or so and it signalled a change. 010
Manny Grillo @mannygrillo.bsky.social · 14/06/2026The wife said I smelt nice the other day. I was wearing this. 010
Manny Grillo @mannygrillo.bsky.social · 14/06/2026I like one Rod Stewart song. The Motown Song. Only because I was convinced he sang “honourable mention to The Miracles”. 000
Manny Grillo @mannygrillo.bsky.social · 14/06/2026Jude, 9, this morning playing music with his friend - they couldn’t decide between Billie Jean and Beat It. Just play the album as a whole, lads! Realised time wise it’s like me as a 9 year old playing the greatest hits of Vera Lynn or digging some jazz swing. 000
Manny Grillo @mannygrillo.bsky.social · 08/06/2026She needs to stick to playing bass for Duran Duran. 120
