@raecomm.bsky.social As I Dortmund fan since Pulisic [American) I am somewhat excited for the season. I don’t expect them to win the Bundesliga, with Bayern salaries of 291 m and Dortmund 130. Dortmund is at its best with new unknown players, and this year they did not attack other Bundesliga.

The thing I find telling, they let the “decoy” plane take off first. Instead the plane with Trump could have taken off, then move those on the “decoy” plane to other planes. It wasn’t a “decoy” it was a “sacrificial” plane.

Am I disappointed the the USMNT lost? Yes. However, I don’t think I can support the cost to change that. As I understand it in European countries, soccer / Futball talent is identified at a young age and attend “academies” of professional club. I prefer our USA kids have life’s ( high school)

New soccer / football rule: a player besides the goalie is only allowed to use their hands on a throw in. No more picking up a “dead” ball to stall or picking it up and giving to someone else to throw in.

Watching soccer/football for a while now, and currently the World Cup. Just curious where all the commentators go for training on “body language”. They all seem to talk about “body language” and just curious if the actually have any training or just talking nonsense. Suspect the latter.

Given recent times - I strongly suggest the teaching of Logic and Logical Fallacies at all levels in USA education. As an understanding seems to be missing from a large number of American adults.

Suggested science experiment. Soap for washing hands size vs length of time. My observations. New bar of soap decreasing to 50% of size / volume = 2 months. Decrease from 50% to 20% = 3 months. Decrease from 20% to 10% = 3 months. Last 10% to 0% = FOREVER
