Got this mum out of the trash last year because I wanted the container it was in. Stuck the remains of the plant in the ground and forgot about it. Looks like that should be my gardening strategy from here on, it works better than when I take care of them.

The Maximilian sunflowers all blew down despite my fenceposts and strings. They were about 12 feet tall and went in all directions; I don't know what to do about it other than take pictures. #flowers
