hi, i love you. in theory & concept, i still exist. in practice, not so much. i hope you are all as well as you can be and fighting the good fight. i am scared but i am alive. i made a protest quilt. did you know i could quilt? me neither. cat tax below. ok i love you goodbye for another year maybe?

A small quilt in the trans pride flag colors, light blue, light pink, and white. Each quilt square is either plain with no print, has floral prints, stars and constellations, or woodland creatures such as foxes and owls. It is bound in a thin strip of rainbow plaid fabric the whole way around. It does not yet have text on it, but I will iron on words to use this at a protest.

The opposite side of the protest quilt. It is the progress flag colors-- a rainbow flag with a triangle on the side in white, pink, blue, brown, and black. The quilt squares are mostly solid, but some contain florals or stars. It is bound in a rainbow plaid fabric. The inside is actually a pocket so I can slip a piece of cardboard in between the quilt to hold it up at a protest.

A picture of my beautiful brown tabby cat with tortoiseshell markings named Allie Cat. She is sitting on my sewing table in front of a white floral quilt with a yellow green binding that I was binding by hand. Her green eyes are looking calmly toward me as I take her picture, and her expression is one of quiet pleasure.

Allie Cat again, sitting on top of fabric squares on my cutting surface. Her back leg is in the air because she was licking her butt hole on top of my nice fabric squares. The fabrics are bright and happy colors, lots of teals and yellows, with cute flowers and birds.
