I was watching a friend's livestream once when their gay friend started actively talking shit about me using she/her
pronouns just because I said "hi" in chat. (It was one of the only times I wasn't invited to attend, but that's fine bc I was also sick in bed 😭)
In the same stream, he also stated that Anya from Mouthwashing "deserved it."
That was my first real experience with the anti-afab shit that goes on in gay male spaces. And fuck me did it hurt learning I still wasn't safe even around other queers.

Coming back to this post a year later to announce that I'm discovering even more kittycord evidence in the Ponyville Mysteries: Cursed Crusaders book.

Scootaloo jumped as something touched her hoof. She looked down. A tiny saucer of milk nuzzled against her, purring.

They walked for a long time. They hopped over marshmallows, crossed rivers of chocolate milk, climbed up what seemed like a really long cat's tail... and it just kept getting weirder.

Scootaloo found herself in a comfy chair in front of a warm fire. She glanced to her left and saw Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle wrapped in cozy blankets on a couch next to her. Starlight was curled up in front of the fire with a ball of yarn in front of her. She knocked the yarn away with her hoof and sat up. "Discord, seriously--" she huffed. The Draconequus held up a claw, shushing her.
