I fucking love Pinhead. That calm, almost polite delivery while promising unimaginable suffering is far more unsettling than screaming threats. He doesn't even have to do anything yet. He just speaks with absolute certainty, like your fate is already decided and he's just explaining what comes next.

I've worked on my mental health since 2022 and I've made real fucking progress, but compliments still don't register. Someone says something nice and my first reaction is, "What? Why?" Then I crack a joke and brush it off because actually accepting it feels VERY uncomfortable.

I know that the footage that has become available is all rough and not a 100% complete cut of the film, but the reels that do exist can easily be constructed into something close to the page. Someone needs to find a way to make this happen so that the work can finally be properly seen.

I finally watched OBSESSION, and I thought it was really fucking good. But after it ended, I couldn't shake all the discourse I'd seen flying around online. When someone's telling me a story and I respond with "mmhmm," that's me acknowledging what they're saying and letting them keep talking. THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE has gotten so many releases that I've practically lost count of how many copies I own. But Turbine's Legendary Bundle feels like the definitive release to me. I love this film enough to keep buying it, but this is the edition I'll be reaching for from here on out.

I stopped collecting comics in my early 20s and figured I was done for good. Then ABSOLUTE BATMAN came along and pulled me right back in. Dark, weird, and completely fucking nuts. It's been years since a comic made me give this much of a shit. Now I'm collecting again and waiting for the next issue.
