ICE is treating people they kidnap worse than criminals. They themselves carry out criminal acts making me and I suspect many others feel less terrorized in my community. How are we to know the legality of what ICE is doing when those taken in, which could be anyone of us, are denied legal access?

Pardons should first require a conviction for a specific crime or *full* allocution by the perp to the specific crimes committed. Non-specific pardons for “bad deeds” can provide legal cover so the perp can avoid prosecution for unspecified crimes and hide information that injured parties deserve.

I want so-called “white collar” crime prosecuted with the same ferocity as violent crime. Fraud/bribery/insider trading may not cause physical damage, but they spread the damage across many. The impact, which steals money from many, can be far greater with multiple secondary effects.

I fear we’re now in a cycle with no escape. Since the SCOTUS Citizens United ruling equating money with speech, those with wealth freely use their money to force the government to enact policies that send more money to the wealthy. I can’t imagine how such an unbalanced society survives.

Trump put the tariffs in place to increase his own power and weath, not to help Americans. He is personally negotiating deals with countries, an action that’s (reportedly) never been done before. Trump can raise or lower tariffs to punish or reward companies and countries at will.

He could justify any actions by claiming their purpose is only to enforce laws. Putting absolutely everyone in jail would halt jaywalking. I don’t believe ICE’s sole purpose is to catch illegal immigrants, but, whatever their purpose, their method is hurting many innocent people and therefore wrong.

Multiple protests have occurred and continue across the nation. People are visiting and calling congressional representatives and Wash DC. ICE protesters have been arrested, convicted, and given decades long prison sentences. Others have died. We’re open to suggestions for better ways to fight.

This is the state of just about every app I use for work. Adding distractions that aren’t useful isn’t just unhelpful, it significantly reduces my productivity and that of my company. Companies that use these products need to push back because they are hurting not helping their bottom line.

We have cops, ICE agents, FBI, and the National Guard armed and patrolling as if in war zones, at risk of being murdered by every citizen. US law enforcement uses violence too often. Most British police do not carry guns. Only experienced officers in America should be allowed to carry weapons.

I’d suggest RFK Jr go to grad school where he could learn how scientific hypotheses are scrutinized and tested, but I doubt he’d get in or make it through the first year. He doesn’t know what he doesn’t know. He’s too caught up in his faulty ideas to learn, and we’re paying the price.

When immigrants are removed from jobs that bring food and goods to people in the US (or refuse such jobs due to fear of deportation), transportation costs go up, and the cost of the foods and goods also goes up. This is yet one more Trump-instigated contributor to inflation.
