I've been ill & unable to take part in #wildflowerhour for a while. On top of this I'm now recovering from shingles! However, I managed to go out on Fri & take far too many pics of the heavily laden hedgerow #fruits to make up for it! 😂 Various common berries, but some best left for the birds!

Yes, small world indeed! I left the Wirral years ago but my late parents stayed there & my brother lives in Little Neston! That is an achievement going to Cambridge from Woodchurch-good for him!! 👏

It's an important occupation without doubt, so fair play! 👏 I had a swarm land on an apple tree in my garden last year, but the next morning most of them had died and the others had flown elsewhere. I did contact a local bee-keeping group who were going to collect them, but it was too late sadly.
