Last one for today; This is 「RIP AND TEAR」, a guardian spirit for my zombie merchant Bonnie the Butcher. I wanted something a little bit sinister looking to juxtapose her timid nature; her name comes from her need to consume brains to heal. Bonnie design by vgen.co/YuShibe #PixelArt #DnD #OC

This is , a Guardian Spirit for my tiefling chef Tomo. I wanted something that reflects her unhinged, fractured state of mind so look forward to a more complete / stable version of this spirit once her story is resolved. She's easily my favourite character. Tomo art by @akanechi.bsky.social

Another lil' guy for the pile. This one is 「GHOST OF A CHANCE」; a Guardian Spirit for my oracle girl Phyla. She's a young orphan girl who talks to ghost so she can cheat at fortune reading. Phyla art by LumiMellow. linktr.ee/lumimellow The Spirit was initially a plush toy that came to life #PixelArt

Oops those were compressed super badly.. Here's my penguin girl Eudypta again; the first sprite I did when I picked pixel art back up vs her updated one a few days later. The 3rd image is her MS paint token from the D&D campaign. She was a throwaway character but I kinda fell in love with her.

That did the trick; I'll leave you with one more for now. This is 「 PIERCE THE HEAVENS」, a guardian spirit for my martial artist Xiang. The spirit bears a striking resemblance to her grandfather, the mighty grappler El Tora. This Xiang redesign was by @theforestghost.bsky.social #Pixelart #DnD #OC

Seeing that .webp at 800% does better, so I'll try that next. This is my latest little guy. His name is 「DON'T FEAR THE REAPER」, a Guardian Spirit for my necromancer elf Cosantóir. This one is pretty easy, I just wanted to draw a cute skeleton. This Cosantóir art was also by vgen.co/Wafflecaramel

I guess I'll keep trying different stuff until I get it.. Here's 「BACK IN TIME」, a hybrid creature for my crocodile girl Snap. I wanted something that reflected her wilderness / cave girl inspired aesthetic. #PixelArt #DnD #OC This Snap art was drawn by vgen.co/Wafflecaramel

Does anyone know how to upload pixel art to Bluesky without it getting absolutely crushed by compression? Anyway have the latest lil' fella; 「WHEREVER YOU WILL GO」. He's a camouflage dolphin for my orc cartographer Atlex. I wanted an animal that's good at navigation but y'know..out of water.

Gonna start posting some pixel art for my D&D campaign as I get back into the hobby. These three are enemy variants heavily inspired by the Slime Knights from Dragon Quest games.
