Over a month later I’ve finally complete my second safari week phase, breaking my previous record by 10k at 27252 encounters. Stayed for 5 balls, three-shake-faked me twice, then fled 🙃 #ShinyPokemon #ShinyHunter #SafariWeek

#Poetry I wrote for class. Can you guess what the title means? 🪵🔥👻

The trees have grown through the holes in my floor,
the vines creep shyly through the cracks.
My bed, made of dirt and moss and stone;
myself, made of nothing but bone.

But still, my phone sits charging nearby,
the nightstand all polished and new.
It glows over dirt and struggling weeds,
taking more space than it needs.

It chimes,
Once,
the silence is stolen.
My eyes, made of dirt, reopen.

I blink,
Once, Twice,
I shift in the grass:
I wonder if it’s come at last.

The wind sighs through the holes in my chest;
the vines wipe the salt from my eyes.
Just another alert about the end of the world.
The leaves in my stomach recurl.

Years pass as I shift from one side to the next,
waiting for my phone to ring.
I begin to think I might have to contend
with never hearing from him again.

Recently finished this gem of a book. It’s a brutal satire on the prison state, capitalism, and the commodification of women’s bodies, in a future where prisoners fight to the death for our entertainment. Bonus points for sapphic romance & sick-ass fight scenes. It’s so good, go read it! #booksky

2024 was the year I got back into following new music seriously and engaging with the discourse, and in 2025 I want to commit to listening to more new music as it comes out. I didn’t even listen to Brat until last month (my loss). Anyway, here’s my favorite albums I listened to this year 💜
