RAYN4: Now if you would excuse me, I am going to be off to hang out with my real family, and put my love into them, into my fiancé, my beloved significant other, and a very special kitty fox.

With this, we'll take our permanent leave from this platform, move on to better things, and spend time with better people. With people who actually give a shit about each other’s well-being instead of with the glorified rat-race that social media platforms like Twitter & Bluesky had largely become.

After all, there are too many folks, good folks in this world, who are only alive today thanks to my interventions. Can Rhea and Oracle say the same about themselves, or will we have found out that without people like me around, they would have managed to abuse vulnerable folks into suicide?

No matter what our abusers do to try to gaslight the community and turn them against us, we know that ultimately, they will not win, and they know this too. This is because the folks who remained are those who will love us for who we are, rather than who we would have pretended to be.

The world will know how Rhea is a backstabber who lacks the integrity to see past her own physical attractions to identify abusers within her own community, and that her own indifferent attitude towards community safety had led her into interacting with unsafe people.

The world will know how Oracle would take advantage of her victim’s momentary weaknesses, traumas and compromised states of mind in order to push past boundaries and grab what she wanted out of them without their consent.

Unlike our abusers, we don’t need to look over our shoulders at every turn, terrified out of our minds that the truth will catch up to us and deliver our reckoning. Unlike these fairweather friends who claimed to protect us from our abusers, we do not fold like lawn chairs at the slightest pushback.

The truth will always find a way to catch up to the lies, and it will always shatter the veil of gaslight. All we need to do is tell our story, because the truth is on our side. All throughout this ordeal, we have been acting with a clean conscience.

Just like how Drake wasn’t able to keep the truth of his sex trafficking ring from the world, the truth of what happened to us will come to light regardless of Oracle and Rhea’s efforts to suppress the truth, and rewrite the narrative.

Maybe if Oracle had wanted people like RAYN4, and Poes to fall in love with her, maybe losing the emotional rapist personality would be a start. After all, the constant boundary violations, self-flagellation and emotional blackmail are a huge turn off.

Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
Out of everyone in the furry community we’ve met, Poes was one of the very few folks who exemplified the kind of people we had hoped to see on Bluesky; Kind, caring, graceful, patient, understanding, and above all, principled. It is no wonder RAYN4 had fallen in love with it.

Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
Until the furry fandom on social media addresses the main problem of vibes being the main community-building heuristic, it will continue to have these issues where sex pests are rewarded with community, while their victims languish in isolation. This is gaslight, gatekeep and girlboss in action.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
We would also say the same about the furry community, of which we had been a peripheral part of for our entire adult life, and we can say with full confidence that it had not really improved in how they dealt with their sex pests. Nothing has changed since the Zaush exposé.

Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
This was not what we had wanted to see when we joined Bluesky, and yet it was largely what we ended up getting.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
What we are pointing to, is the issue where people fall into the temptation to value their own popularity and branding over integrity and principles, leading to self-appointed community leaders abusing their unearned power in order to force their wills onto the dispossessed with impunity.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
This example is just one of many that I could bring up when it comes to the problems of social media and how it has a perennial sex pest problem. The fact that Bluesky was modeled largely after Twitter means that the same problems that plagued Twitter would also be a problem on Bluesky.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
And yet, here we are, being faced with the fact that yet another person who we thought was safe had hollowed out their own soul, and abandoned us in order to maintain a level of presence within Bluesky. They have effectively chosen to look away from sexual abuse for their own comfort.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
This is quite disappointing, as out of all of the folks from Bluesky that we had known, we would expect them to understand how traumatic and damaging being subject to constant boundary-pushing from a sex pest can be, and how important it is to support sexual abuse victims during critical moments.

Upon learning that while they had been avoiding the discord server that we shared with them, they had been very active in other discord servers. We were forced to confront the realization that in spite of their reassurances that we weren’t forgotten, they had already moved on without us.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
Unfortunately, this would be the last we would hear from them. They would claim that they do not have the spoons to sustain a conversation, and yet they would spend those same limited spoons getting involved in inconsequential discourse on Bluesky, as well as make promises that they could not keep.

Then Alice mentioned that we had been worried about them since losing contact, and that she had been trying to comfort us in the meantime. When asked if they wanted to leave a message for us, they relayed that they were in a lot of pain, and that they send us their love.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
When Alice asked the mentor if they had talked to Poes or us lately, the mentor declined, but also said that they haven’t forgotten about us, and that they had been mostly public-facing.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
This wall of silence had been going on for 4 months so far, even going so far as to stonewall Poes when it was dealing with suicidal ideation from the sheer feeling of loneliness from the situation, and hopelessness it felt towards the future.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
As an example, Poes’ now former mentor, who once doted on it, calling it their sibling, and had helped it discover a lot of things about itself, had hit Poes with a wall of silence after Poes shared its story about having been sexually abused by Oracle.

Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
As if social media clout would ever amount to anything at the end of the day. As if getting a ton of followers and likes will ever equal the fulfillment that comes from walking the path of right action, and building real karma from seeking personal growth and showing true integrity.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
As a consequence, we felt isolated and betrayed by the very community we helped to foster. Bluesky users can say a lot of lofty and noble proclamations about social justice, and community aid in order to boost their own social profile, but utterly fail to show solidarity when it mattered.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
This would soon prove to be another example of irony, as Alice’s subsequent statements speaking out about our mistreatment at the hands of our abusers would be placed under undue scrutiny by those same people, proving that the accusations are more than likely to be a projection.

Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
Some time later, when our sibling/mother Alice reposted our bid for mutual aid on Bluesky, she was beset by a very angry Rhea who had a very public meltdown and spitefully added her to a public blocklist. Citing her slipshod narrative about RAYN4 being a stalker as a reason.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
In the end, we can count on one hand the number of mutuals who did not utterly fail to show us, Oracle’s sexual abuse victims, solidarity. To be honest, with how traumatizing this experience had been for Poes and us, we don’t know if we’d feel safe calling them anything more than acquaintances.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
To be very clear, what Oracle did to us, and to Poes, was emotional rape, using repeated boundary violations while we were too emotionally, physically and mentally compromised to catch on to her advances as they were happening. Folks on Bluesky were happy to defend this.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
One by one, friends have ghosted us. These so-called “friends” who were shown everything, affirmed that what Oracle did was abuse, empathized with our trauma, and vowed to fight the smear campaign perpetuated by Oracle and Rhea, only to abandon us days later are bereft of any semblance of integrity.
133
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
This narrative-pushing would also be reinforced by members of Rhea’s own polycule, who promoted the litigating of sexual abuse victim’s testimonies, and pre-emptively victim-blamed them for not recognizing grooming as it happened. This is very dangerous, as it flirts dangerously with rape culture.
133
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
That she was so willing to go out of her way to reduce our sexual abuse trauma suffered all the way down to a disagreement, while martyrizing a sex pest shows the true nature of her character. And how the virtues of social safety she'd espouse in image-laundering rituals rings so hollow.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
She would also join Oracle in villainizing us, accusing us of stalking her and trying to “cancel” Oracle. Rhea would reframe the months of traumatizing boundary violations, the constant pushing for romantic and sexual relationship, and emotional coercion, as a mere disagreement.
131
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
The Aftermath
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
Over the next few days, Rhea would have gone back on her word on everything. She would reconnect with Oracle, memory-holing every receipt that she had been shown, taking on and fully embracing Oracle’s narrative of being a poor misunderstood lonely autistic queer who didn’t understand social cues.
143
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
And thus, the promises of safety from further sexual abuse, and healing from the trauma that Rhea had woven in her initial words had fully become undone, revealing herself to be a coward, and more importantly, an oath-breaker.
021
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
Rhea then declared that her time being heavily online is over, and then said her good-byes, removing Poes and us from her contacts on Discord soon after, and making any further correspondence impossible.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
Just a few days later, Rhea sent Poes a very strange message out of the blue, trauma-dumping on it without warning, and sneaking in a barbed comment about its recently-dissolved relationship with its ex partner.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
Seeing the myriad of red flags from Rhea in her last message, and worried that she was walking into a kafka trap, RAYN4 decided to step back and take a few days to ponder her response. However, RAYN4 would not be given a chance to do so.
131
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
It is especially gross in this situation as Rhea had done just that to carry water for the sexual predator who abused Poes and us. All because Rhea had a crush on Oracle, and was willing to throw two of Oracle’s victims under the bus to keep Oracle in her life.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
To be clear, none of these were things that RAYN4 or Poes asked of her. We were never comfortable with self-flagellation as an apologetic measure, and it all just comes off as manipulative performative contrition used to coerce forgiveness out of abuse victims.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
Rhea then ended with, “How do I not distress you further? How do I show you I believe you, how do I show you I actually give a shit?”
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
She then red herringed about how Poes asked her to talk to Garm, which was implied to be about Slushy, but was actually about how Rhea should not be trusting Oracle, because of her smear campaign against us, and her breaking her promise not to cause trouble once Rhea parted ways with her.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
Rhea then admitted her own cowardice and that her biggest strength is running away, dovetailing into special pleading about how she’s trying not to run away, and that she stepped down and closed her community, cut ties with Oracle and blocked her and that she never really talked to Slushy.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
Rhea claimed that she was afraid to ask what the right words were despite showing that she was previously able to describe the depths of Oracle’s depravity with “literally abhorrent and sounds like something a lot like something a predator would say. It sounds groomy.”
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
Rhea would make excuses like, “Forgive me for not immediately throwing her (Oracle) out. Forgive my heart and my emotions for clouding my judgement.” She admitted fault for euphemizing Oracle’s abusive actions, but oddly enough suddenly claimed that she doesn’t know how to describe it.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
What followed was a paragraph of passive-aggressive non-apologies from Rhea, written in an uncharacteristically formal manner, not taking accountability for the dismissive language used to euphemize Oracle’s sexual abuse.
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
This demonstrated the level of integrity, and standard of safety that RAYN4 had expected out of Rhea, and that Rhea had failed to meet it. RAYN4 ended with, “Reducing Oracle’s actions to me and Poes cannot, and should not be reduced to a ‘fuckup’.”
121
Lenneth, crimson grim angel [She/Xey/It] @manibrandrstudios.bsky.social · 25/11/2024
RAYN4 greatly emphasized, that prior to the fallout that “she (Oracle) was fucking family to me, I (RAYN4) literally treated her like a sister” and that no matter who would have been abused, she would have disowned Oracle for being a sexual abuser regardless.
