eating...rats? I think? All in all a really surprising sweet story, despite everything happening in that world. I could go on but we'd be here all day lol. Shoutout to Saint Greaver & the team!!!! Keep up the awesome work!!!!!!

I also like it when a character who looks quite intimidating is actually the sweetest thing on the planet. Charlie's the prime example, bless his heart, but I also thought Freya was weirdly cute too. The way she wanted to show affection to the lady but couldn't because she spends all day catching &

The entire short was fantastic too. I can definitely how the animation & character design has improved. I loved the characterisation bc it reminds us that all these guys are just normal people shoved into the most horrific scenarios ever. The voice acting was also great, Charlie made me want to cry

I know I know I'm late to the party, but here are all my Tomodachi Life Miis! (so far) The purple woman on the far left is my own but all the others are based on fictional characters that I like. My favourites are probably Caine, Breadhead and Randall. #tadc #thegaslightdistrict #monstersinc

zipidibap @mangossnake.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

Just wanted to say how much I LOVE the way you draw Mud. You perfectly capture his essence and get all his features & expressions spot on while also keeping to your own style. You don't make him super unappealing but not particularly beautiful either, it's just the right balance. Awesome stuff :]

zipidibap @mangossnake.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

ik these characters don't really fit the vibe of the show but that's just a skill issue on my part. I'm working on it tho :)

zipidibap @mangossnake.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

I don't have much lore for Claudette, since she's basically brand new. She's some sort of eldritch deity that can appear in shadows and enter dreams. Her voice is comprised of radio static, but occasionally, you can make out words.

I was inspired to make a pirate character after watching the TGD Guessing Secrets stream where they consistently bring up pirates (u should watch it its funny) And of course, he's Julian's father. 2/2

zipidibap @mangossnake.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

Chimera is a pirate captain that sails the oceans with his crew and pays a visit to the Gaslight District every once in a while. He's mainly based off a phantom jellyfish, but his other features include a lobster claw hand and tentacle legs which let him climb walls. 1/2

zipidibap @mangossnake.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

Julian is just a freaky lil guy that swims around in the sea. He's got the personality of a dog; very carefree, energetic and loyal. He's around Mel's height and is also Chimera's adopted son.

zipidibap @mangossnake.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

Anita was a science experiment who escaped the Virtues and now just runs around stalking & eating people. She's also very strong, can't talk, and taller than Ken but shorter than Mud. I made her not long after the pilot (and it definitely shows imo lol).

My weird Gaslight District OCs. They were all created separately but I put them all here to compare them/show them to you. There is some lore for them so I'll put em in the replies. #thegaslightdistrict

I KNEW IT. I was also a bit befuddled that nobody pointed that out. His apathetic-ish ringmaster persona IS his mask, and it always has been. I'm just happy he's managing to grow out of it :]
