We are beginning to see more voices against Trump bc they're beginning to fear the general election more. Will they vote for this bill? Probably. But they're testing the waters by saying more and more against it. Just like Candace Owens, they'll pivot to whatever gets the most likes and views.

It's also a hell of a lot cheaper, which is the best explanation for the change. Especially since it's not a major govt position. Special elections have a smaller turnout than general elections. It's good news that it'll be added to the general ballot. Don't fall for fear tactics.

To add more context, GrAssley was elected to his first position in 1958, just 4 years after McCarthy was censured by the Senate..... So yea... this man knows exactly what is going on in our government right now. He's been down this path before.
