Saw one of my favorite bands, The Birthday Massacre, tonight at the Baltimore Soundstage. I was looking forward to Lord of the Lost after seeing them on Eurovision '23. Man were they impressive. Wow. The whole show (the Dark Winter tour) was great. I'll post pics and vids tomorrow! Zzzzzzzzz

My first boba tea EVER. I've been avoiding it because I thought the only option was gross chewy tapioca balls. But these edible coffee-filled popping water balloon-like things are really good! This was a self-serve place & got milky oolong tea with brown sugar & caramel syrups with the popping boba.

Experimenting with a new twist on the orange. The blue is toner (GDY Platinum Dyeposit) but I'm actually really digging how this looks. I really like how it turned out. I'll have to take pictures of it rinsed out and dry in the light of day in order for the color to reproduce accurately.

I bleached my hair and have added a toner that appears denim blue from my roots to just below the top of my ear. Then there is a stretch of color (no color?) that is a mix of freshly bleached hair color and faded peachy orange. Then fresh peachy orange dye goes down to my tips.

There are posts out there suggesting to sit down if agitators like the Proud Boys cause chaos to make it look like a peaceful protest has turned destructive and violent. Be safe out there tomorrow and every day.

FYI I'm paraphrasing the text in the image.
Don't sit down at a protest. Why?
1. Tear gas settles to the ground and will do you more harm.
2. This may endanger people with disabilities who will not be able to get up quickly, putting them at risk.
3. Remaining passive does not mean that law enforcement will leave you alone.
4. It only works if every single person does it, and that's not going to happen. Sitting down is counterintuitive in the face of chaos.
5. It will make you an easy target. You are actually much easier to grab and be thrown into a paddy wagon.

I just ate the most delicious, juicy white peach of my LIFE & it made me fondly remember the time Hawthorn & Holly (@christiemowery.bsky.social) & I ( #Witherwings ) did a #wrock mini tour down the East Coast. We pulled over to stop at a fruit stand & ended up singing for peaches. 👉🏼See the alt text👇🏼

Happy Mother's Day to all who love and nurture the children in your lives. I slept in and was served breakfast in bed. It was perfect. *The coffee was made from a found packet of instant coffee and powdered creamer, topped off with a packet of white chocolate hot cocoa.
