Really impressed with City today. I honestly think we’ve hit the jackpot with the 4 we’ve made. I don’t see the need for Donnarumma. Reijnders looks like a blend of Yaya/Gundo — a huge player. I’m astounded at how cheap we got him.

This could go really well or really not. Lewis, Ederson, Savinho out. Donnarumma, Rodrygo, full-back in. I’m not against selling Lewis — I like him as a player but I don’t feel as though he will ever get past his physical limitations.

Not too hung up about Savinho leaving to be honest. Good talent yes, end product isn’t there yet. If we get £60m I’d happily reinvest into a ready-made top-tier replacement like Rodrygo. Ignore all the reports trying to bring him down Rodrygo is a top tier player not yet at his peak.

I don’t think there is any substance in these reports of Nico G leaving. It’s likely agent-led, but that being said it’s still worrying there is even rumours of this so early into his City career. He should be someone to build the project around. I’d sell Kova, Gundo, Bernardo all ahead of Nico.

Hopefully we see some news in terms of transfers for City soon. Expect McAtee may go. Replaced by Echeverri. 2/3 more in. I personally think Robinson is a no-brainer. I’d love Matheus Cunha too but doubtful of his availability. Ricci or Ederson seem most likely in central midfield.

One positive from today was the defence. I thought we looked much stronger with Ake and Dias back. Our two strongest defenders from a defensive standpoint. Ake got the better of Salah in the 1v1 duels imo and neutralised him. Nunes actually done quite a good job defensively to help out too.

The PL title isn’t over. 75 points still to play. Mathematically we could still finish on 98 points. Yes we won’t win the title playing like this however I do feel there were improvements made today. We play LFC at home and this level of form is unsustainable. One game at a time. 👕💙

Tbh I think Pep not deciding till Boxing Day/Christmas is probably a bit of guesswork. He hasn’t made up his mind yet. I think he extends for another year. Doesn’t seem to want to leave immediately. Another year gives him longer to evaluate the future. A fresh DOF will give him more to work with.

Expecting to see a Pep +1 imminent. Would have preferred a +2 as it gives us some secuity over the future but another year of Pep will be a bonus. However just moves the problem a year on. I’d be keeping an eye on Fabian Hurzeler now too.

I think we need to invest in a #6 in January. Zubimendi would be my prime target. But I’d argue that Stiller , Varela and Ricci would all add to what we have. If we don’t go in for anyone in January then perhaps Wharton , Baleba and Bruno G could be on the cards.

Full faith in Doku. Don’t understand the criticism he gets personally. He’s our strongest winger 1v1 and we’ve missed him through his injuries. Think the output will come with Doku and Savinho they just require some patience like young players do.
