Some cuties from today's @mancfurs.org.uk meet! It was so cool seeing the self-made fursuits by @owlywoo.bsky.social and Ash in person, they're both super cute!

The sun had finally returned for this month's @mancfurs.org.uk. So much contrast to work with! #mancfurs #fursuit #furry

Bradley, a wolf fursuiter, poses for the camera whilst laying forward on a metal park bench in Sackville Gardens, Manchester. His suit has a dark green hoodie, black sneakers, and a plush bag in the shape of a can of Monster energy drink.

A canine fursuiter with bright yellow fur, and wearing a Union Jack as a cape, covers the face of another furmeet attendee with their paws.

A lion fursuiter with brown fur and mint green hair poses for the camera in Sackville Gardens, Manchester, with one hand raised to the side of their head.

We’ll see you next year! 🍩

Before I sign off for the last time this year, we’ll be sharing our confirmed 2026 meet calendar — including our Summer Party… and a few extra dates too. 👀🐾

And finally… thank you. Thank you to everyone who comes along to our events and continues to support MancFurs, helping make it one of the largest regular furmeets in the UK. We genuinely couldn’t do this without you. ❤️

100

A massive thank-you to our incredible core staff team too. The behind-the-scenes work you do provides this community with a regular event and a safe, welcoming space for furries across the UK — and it never goes unnoticed. 💪✨

100

Thank you as well to our amazing and dedicated volunteers — you’re the reason MancFurs works month after month. From running the fursuit lounge to helping attendees, your support makes all the difference. 🐾

First up, a huge thank-you to our previous Chairpersons, Obsolete Goat and Zin (Seb). Both were instrumental in shaping MancFurs into what it is today, and we’re forever grateful for their efforts. We wish them all the best with future opportunities. ❤️

When I first started attending MancFurs back in mid-2018, it never crossed my mind that I’d one day help run the meets I loved attending. Getting the chance to give back to this community now really means a lot to me. (Cue the inevitable “Doughnut is staff at every event” joke… I’ll wait!) 😄

Some of you may already know this, but I was recently elected as Chairperson for MancFurs. It’s an absolute privilege and an honour, and I’m incredibly excited to help bring MancFurs forward into a bigger and better future. 💙
