Found a nazi for your reporting and blocking pleasure
Guardian post about arrests at a far right action yesterday. A far right hate speech account with the display name Sheogorath and handle @sheogorath6.bsky.social has replied complaining "it's amazing how indigenous people can't even protest against their own genocide" which is typical neo nazi rhetoric

No dryer here either. We have the classic Scottish solution for drying laundry when it's wet outside (this is in a utility room with an extractor fan but when we first moved in it was next to the stairs)
Clothes hanging from a drying rack that's pulled up to the ceiling by a pulley system

This killer driver was found not guilty of causing death by dangerous driving, because we let people serve on juries who think driving on the pavement is no big deal. Esme Weir was four years old when Peter Williams killed her.
Williams said he drove down the road — double parked with cars on both sides — at 10mph looking for a space to pull in near the house where he was delivering timber.

He said he mounted the pavement so as not to block the road and had not seen the girl.

He told the jury: “I slowed to a stop, indicated and checked my mirrors and drove onto the pavement.

“I heard a lady screaming and I got out the van to see what had happened and there was little girl on the floor.

“I went to help her. I had blood all over my hands and the mother picked the little girl up and carried her across the road and took her into somebody’s house.”

Paramedics and hospital medics tried in vain to save Esme, who had suffered “fatal traumatic multiple injuries”.

Protests against the war in Afghanistan
The proposed invasion of Afghanistan prompted protests with mass demonstrations in the days leading up to the official launch of the war on October 7, 2001. The continuation of the war in Afghanistan from 2001 to 2021 led to further protest and opposition to hostilities.

This is the latest one that's specifically of sky rather than just having the sky in
A herring gull soars over the top of a rainbow at sunset. The rainbow is very bright so multiple successively narrower spectra are seen stacked within the main primary arc like an infinity tunnel. Because it's at sunset the rainbow is tinted pink

No cheating. Share the last picture of the sky from your camera roll
A brightly lit blue sky with scattered cumulus clouds. Below it is the view from Achaladair south across Loch na Tulla to the hills of the Blackmount and beyond. The air is slightly hazy giving a layered effect to the mountain ranges

Academic freedom only pertains to the academic's liberty within their area of research. Cofnas was not employed to research "a heriditarian revolution". If UGhent had intefered with Cofnas's research in the future of liberalism, that would have been an actual breach of academic freedom.
During a recent podcast interview with Winston Marshall published on 9 August 2026, you explicitly stated that you are currently continuing your work on 'race realism' and the 'hereditarian revolution' at Ghent University. These public claims, and the activities you describe, are fundamentally inconsistent with the contractual scope of your employment and constitute a manifest violation of your professional obligations towards this University.
Your employment contract (article 1) and the vacancy for which you were recruited (ref. LW01) define your research mandate as a study of 'the future of liberalism', specifically focusing on liberalism as a political doctrine emphasizing individual freedom and equality. The projects you publicly and repeatedly associate with your ffiliation at Ghent Universitv y, most notably you
'Guide for the Hereditarian Revolution' which advocates for racial barriers and segregation, fall entirely outside the scope of your official research mandate

Racists frequently use the cover of jokes to state their true views. Satre explained how that worked, eighty years ago:
Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words.

This was pretty awesome yesterday evening
A photo of a very bright rainbow over south Glasgow at sunset. Inside the primary arc everything looks spectacularly pink. Outside the main arc is a gap of clear sky then a fainter secondary bow.Close up on the top of the main bow of the sunset rainbow. A single herring gull flies above multiple rings of spectra

TfL’s monitoring shows that the segregated cycle lanes at Blackfriars Bridge are able to move 5 times as many people as the adjacent carriageway lane. After only 2 weeks of the Cycle Superhighway routes opening, 5% more people were moving across the bridge than before construction of the segregated lanes.

The Labour government publishing this just two weeks after bringing in a nationwide toilet ban for trans people and two weeks before their trans section 28 comes into effect in English schools was certainly a fucking choice petition.parliament.uk/petitions/76...
The government recognises the devastating impact of Section 28 of the Local Government Act (1988) on LGBT+ people in the UK. There is no place for discriminatory legislation in the UK, where all people, no matter their background or LGBT+ identity, deserve to be treated with dignity and respect and to enjoy full inclusion in society.

I'm sure our neighbours hate our gardens but I've been deliberately cultivating wee wildflower meadows front and back and I love them. It's not rained here for three weeks but there's no sign of anything drying out yet because the soil is shaded. I saw at least 6 bee species yesterday in the front
My back garden. Small but mighty meadow areas (visually dominated by heaps of meadow pea) with a mown strip between where pale porcelain flags are laid forming a pathA bit of a front garden meadow patch, with yellow rattle seed heads, and betony, ragwort, and birds foot trefoil in flower. Behind are various shrubs and a recently trimmed conifer hedge which I dislike but it's on the neighbour's side

The council have been building a good quality cycle lane and resurfacing the adjacent pavement on the main road near my house and it's almost finished!
New smooth tarmac laid on a footway and a kerb separated bidirectional cycle track. There are cones in the main carriageway keeping a lane clear for the works. The new cycle facility only needs to be painted and bollards to be installed before it is complete. Varied trees along the road are in full late spring leaf and the sky is blue
