@comradecat.bsky.social here: Manar messaged me this weekend. She traveled back to the north and has poor phone reception, no money, no food, no way to support her family besides this link. If we can raise funds, a dear friend of mine in has volunteered to take $ to her. chuffed.org/project/help...

Screen shot of message from Manar, translated into English from Arabic:

"Hello my darling, I want to help you, dear

My family and I are waiting for your help

The situation here, I don't know how to describe it to you, it's very difficult.

There is no internet here to talk to you, not even electricity, not even water. We struggle here just to survive

My friend I am very tired

I have no one to lean on but you,
my friend"

Original Arabic language text message from Manar.

Manar is still mourning her only brother, who was martyred a week ago, and she has nothing but this link to provide for herself, her parents, and her injured sister as they try to survive the winter in Neusirat. chuffed.org/project/help...

Today, Manar found out her only brother has been martyred in the north, leaving behind his wife and baby. The family needs support more than ever. 💚 chuffed.org/project/help...

Screen shot of message between Beth and Manar:

Beth: Hi Manar, i was wondering if you have any photos or updates I could use to update your fundraiser

Manar: What do I say after the news of the martyrdom of my only brother?

Tired of separation and lack, tired of life

Beth: Your brother in the north died?

I am so sorry love

Manar: Yes, today the news of his martyrdom came as a shock. I can hardly believe that he left us.

Beth: What about his wife and child?

Manar: They are fine thank God, he left us a difficult trust

Hi all - Manar needs food for her family again. If we could help her get a bag of flour (~$250 USD plus $75-100 in fees to get cash) it would be a lifesaver. chuffed.org/project/help...
