I’m excited to say that I’ve got a credit on Ludum Dare now. I did a few short tunes for my buddy ColeSlawski’s LD60 entry, “I Was..?” that is about cognitive decline and dementia, presented in an anomaly hunting game. A scary, sensitive topic, which is the point. 🔗 ldjam.com/events/ludum...

ITS THE FIIIINAAAL COOUNTDOWWWWWNN I am tired. But the final day of the marathon is here. The whole cast of the lounge will be there as we play some spooky games to usher in Spookytober. And in the evening we wind down with some more laidback chat-centric games, and talk about the new channel. 🧡

Woo, Day 3 completed and well on our way to the 2nd goal! Thank you to Amby & Annfia for hanging and stressing around on Overcooked 2! Tomorrow, Flora and myself are Soup Linked as we play both Pokémon Black and White, Nuzlocke and Randomized from 2pm to 8pm. Rules attached! See you tomorrow. 🧡

POKEMON NUZLOCKE RULES
NUZLOCKE RULES:
• You may only catch the very first wild Pokemon in an area or route
If it faints or flees, you get no second chances at catching it
• If a Pokemon faints, it must be put into a designated PC box permanently
Reviving items are banned
- You must nickname every single Pokemon.
- The first Pokemon, all encounters, and items held are randomized!
- All shinies can be caught, but with an additional rule below!

SOUL LINK ADDITIONAL RULES:
Flora & Grim must play the game simultaneously.
In this case, Black for Flora & White for Grim.
- Encounters are linked:
If one fails their catch opportunity, the other's successful catch must be boxed.
Furthermore, when the encounter is successful, the pokemon are "linked". ie: If Pikachu & Snorlax were caught in the same encounter, and Flora's Pikachu faints, Grim's Snorlax must also be boxed.
- Linked Pokemon must be nicknamed the same.
If Flora catches Pikachu and Grim catches Snorlax, they must both be nicknamed the same.
- If either boxes a Pokemon to rest or make room, the other must do the same.
If Flora boxes Pikachu to make room for another, Grim must also box Snorlax.
- If a Shiny is encountered, you may catch it but you have to replace your active Pokemon!
If Flora encounters a Shiny Magikarp and is using a Pikachu named "Jim", Flora can catch the Shiny Magikarp. But it will replace Pikachu and it must take its "Jim" name.
- Dupe Encounter Clause
If the first encounter is a Pikachu, and the next region's encounter is also a Pikachu, you get a do-over. The other must flee/kill their encounter and also gets a do-over

Doing a full cleanup and reinstall of Windows. Every “cycle” I check out how many projects I ended up having made on a cycle and the count for this one is 232 projects. Give or take about 30 duplicate versions or so. Not too bad.

Mana’s project folder is 1315 files large with 232 project folders. It is 21.1 gigabytes in size.

For Canadians, this is absolutely ridiculous. 1500 CAD pre-tax/ship for that performance, size, for an experience you can set up with software? If you're chasing a console experience, just buy yourself a PS5 Pro with the money. They're 1100 CAD on Amazon if you have the money for a Steam Machine.

The Steam Machine starts at 1500 CAD before tax + ship. Goes up to 1628, 1919, and 2038 CAD respectively with options.

A PS5 Pro Console with 2TB of space costs 1099.96 (1100) pre-tax/ship on Amazon.ca.

Poor Steelix, out of bounds and aware of it.

Steelix is clipped out of the Pokopia game bounds, with an ironic speech bubble saying "Wait, what is this place? Hey, you over there! Yeah, you! Any idea where we are?"

Tomorrow we start streaming one of my favourite games of all time. So I figured I’d take the opportunity to show off this lil’ prized possession. 🧡

Final Fantasy XII, in a steelbook collector’s edition case for the PS2. Signed by Gideon Emery, who voices Balthier.

Around 4 years ago in Arknights (the original) I was cursed with pulling about 9 Lees in a row. The odds of getting 6 stars is relatively low, the odds of pulling the same character is even lower. The odds of this happening SO MANY TIMES is astronomically low. Now today, I returned to Arknights...

These are #my9games that, at this time, I would say remain closest to me throughout time. The actual list is far bigger and would probably change day by day though.

Kingdom Hearts, Halo Reach, Cyberpunk, Red Dead Redemption 2, Disco Elysium, Civilization 6, Stardew Valley, Expedition 33, Final Fantasy 12
