12: Reunion For some reason my mind took the prompt and word reunion and decided "yeah they get back together after a prison break." Just some part of my brain thinks action sequence. Unnamed elf is Thomas mind. The lads are sadly not OCs. #bweirdOCtober

The dungeons were in an uproar. A prisoner was escaping, and he had an accomplice. Heavy footsteps of guards taken aback by the sudden change in the evening shift trotted along to intercept the prisoner. Unbeknownst to them the prisoner had since found a place to duck away from prying and even observant eyes. From the darkened collapsed section of wall, a black haired elf with a wide brimmed hat peeked out from the darkness, and gestured gently for his escapee to follow. He was paid to get him out safely, and he'd spent several nights casing the dungeons to find what was most likely the safest route out. Even if on a time limit, it was a surefire escape. The elf lead the human in rags down the hallway quickly and quietly, ensuring the escapee never lost sight of him while he masterfully sliced around each corner, ensuring no guard would see their approach. Finding hiding spots where accessible for his less-than-capable escapee. Eventually they found their way to the escape point in the labyrinthine prison, and promptly the elf interlocked his fingers and affixed his back to the wall below a tall window without bars that had been left ever so slightly ajar. The escapee lifted one foot, and the elf with surprising strength threw him up where the escapee messily clambered over the windowsill. It was the last he saw of the elf, as a cacophonous crash was heard back down in the dungeon, and as per instructed the prisoner didn't look back. Hopping down from the high ledge and landing with a soft if hard thud on the lawn of the grounds, the escapee dashed forward just as instructed. Finding the rear gate had not only been left open but the guards were mysteriously absent. The “gift” the elf surely had mentioned. He ran, and ran, and ran, until he was far away from the castle town. It wasn't much longer until he saw a familiar looking carriage lit by a lantern held by a worried looking man. He called out, and his fiance shifted to look in his direction, and gave a tearful s…

I might be boring, but Final Fantasy VII is my origin video game. I swear to you my first game EVER was SMB on the NES, but the first game I DISTINCTLY remember playing and being wowed by was FFVII. I didn't even know how to READ when I started playing it, first piece of media that made me cry.

This just makes me want to giggle like I'm five. Like, technically not inaccurate as far as a name goes, but localizers what in the heck were you smoking? XD It's like the one time I wanted to make a similar TTRPG boss to the Mist Dragon of FFIV and evaded using the name "Fog Dragon."

#30DayFinalFantasy Day 29: FF I Want Remade With a bit of deliberation, Final Fantasy II. Not only does it have some of the best potential for a remake, but even then besides its terribly flawed mechanics, I understand the story isn't the worst. It deserves being rebuilt into something better.

#30DayFinalFantasy Day 28: Favorite Title Card Art After a review, easily FFX's. It's one that not only appears to be Amano's art but also spans the length of the Final Fantasy text. Featuring Yuna and the colors of the Farplane, really helping point at what the plot is about.

#30DayFinalFantasy Day 19: Favorite Supporting Character/NPC If no one else but Greg (his actual name is Gilgamesh)! I love this doofus, while I met him first in FFXIV, FFV really solidified my love for him. And while he works for the BBEG, he's not necessarily evil himself. Just a weapon hunter.

#30DayFinalFantasy Day 17: Favorite Soundtrack Okay this feels like cheating but... FFXIV Endwalker's OST is such a dang good'un. I say it's cheating because FFXIV is ongoing. My favorite Nobou Uematsu soundtrack is probably X's.

#30DayFinalFantasy Day 16: Favorite Summon/Spell Ultima. While I understand it's quite underwhelming in its origin game FF II, there's something so awe-inspiring of "the ultimate magic," and the fact you can basically chain cast it to melt any living thing in VI onward. It's an OC's staple to boot.

#30DayFinalFantasy Day 15: Favorite Boss Fight Probably the Holy Dragon in FF VI. And only for one reason; he's susceptible to silence. And the boss fight takes place in a tower where you can only use magic. I was floored and rather laughy at that being a possible solution. Cheesed so hard.

#30DayFinalFantasy Day 10: Favorite Job/Class Blue Mage, hands down. Red Mage is a close second, but there's something intrinsically satisfying with learning the enemy's "unique" technique and then promptly using it against them, or using it later down the line. The Swiss Army Mage if you will.

#30DayFinalFantasy Day 6: Worst NPC Lone Wolf from FFV. What, a, jerk! Shame on the player for releasing him naturally, but he steals treasure you gain access to later in the game! Rude! The easy but uninteresting answer I have is Taledji Adaledji, he's a love-to-hate. Both parts of him!

#30DayFinalFantasy Day 3: Worst Final Fantasy I think they mean least favorite but I'ma answer in both ways. Objectively, I think FF II is the worst. It's a solid idea with entirely too messy of execution. Subjectively, I dislike FF VIII the most. It's min/max heaven, and that sucks to me.

#30DayFinalFantasy Day 2: Favorite Final Fantasy You're making me CHOOSE? Ugh, I love many of them for various reasons! Gun to my head, demand I pick JUST ONE, I'm gonna say Final Fantasy V. It's a kinda goofy story, with arguably some of the strongest gameplay of the series per its class system.

Four games that defined my 2025 P5R for getting me into a franchise that I now love very deeply for its depth and freedom. ISaT for being a beautifully written and moving indie RPG. BG3 for being an excellent and addicting CRPG. Crow Country for instilling my now genuine interest in horror games.

Back when I had her hairstyle rough and frazzled looking with a hastily tied tail to the front, to help signify she was busy helping the world over. While not a WoL (no echo), she's a helluva hero. And self-proclaimed Dawn Warrior but that bit's more my nod to FFV.

I could speculate that perhaps it's because black or dark colors are more closely affiliated with the Nazi regime, but if that's all it was then are we concerned with how the Thai general looks? Is it just that it's silver on the uniform? Germany seems to still do that just fine on gray/green. 8/14

In the same clip the original art of her model had a red armband and she asked for its removal. She wasn't unaware there could be comparisons, I feel she rightfully didn't think they'd happen by her outfit alone. I don't blame her considering that Matara a few months earlier had a similar look. 7/14
