SS Steelmaker, Feb 7 1922, noted as being in Alexandria Egypt. Joseph W Gosselin, 1900-1966, joined Merchant Marines with his father's permission on Dec 11 1919. Enlisted 1942 and by 1947 he was a commander in the US Navy. #Genealogy #SSSteelmaker

90 Years ago, in Boston MA a Scots Clan Picnic brough 5000 people to see the races and to hear the bands and pipers. The men bag pipe contest was won by George Ritchie. I think and hope it was my great grandfather. #Genealogy #BostonMA

My great Grandfather George Ritchie, 1884-1952, Port Glasgow to Boston, MA, arrived in 1909. He worked as a boilermaker at the U S Navy yard then installing Frigidaire refrigerators. #PortGlasgow #BostonMA #Genealogy

Henry L Norcross, 1863-1891, worked as a broker in Boston. He was fed up with the rich always ripping off the poor, so he took action. He brought a dynamite bomb to the office of Russell Sage, a wealthy businessman. Sage maneuvered another man to be closer to the bomb. #Genealogy #NewYork

Agnes "Nessie" Ritchie, 1909-1986, worked as a hat check girl at the Statler Hotel in Boston after her time in the WAVES. (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service). She was very active in the area dance contests. #Genealogy #BostonMA

Joseph Wildor Leduc, 1921-1999, was employed at Davis & Furber Mills North Andover MA. His dagger tattoo was listed on his WWII draft card. He served in the Navy 1942 -1944. The mill building is now shared office and apartment space. #Genealogy #NorthAndoverMA #LawrenceMA

William McNab Ritchie, 1890-1950, arrived July 1911. He was listed as a boilermaker with a scar on his left hand second finger. His WWII registration card, it is noted that middle finger of left hand is deformed. I wonder was it caused by a work injury in the shipyard? #Genealogy #PortGlasgow

After finding the ancestors, gathering the documents, paying for the documents, paying to apply, paying to mail the proof to apply, waiting a year for an answer...I think that any enemies will just use their USA passport to get over the border if they want to cause harm.

Not everybody. Some parents would not allow teens to watch it. I was so mad at my parents. At 13, the last year of Boomers, I thought that I should have been allowed to see it. I think that it did not end at night until 9 or 10pm. Never allowed to stay up that late on a school night.

I found a used 2020 Bolt EV with just 26,500 miles. New to me in 2023. With my solar panels in the back yard, went home and set up a fast charger in the garage. Paid $16999.
