23 Species in the garden (VC29), not as many as I hoped for given the conditions but finally an Orange Sallow and the Dusky Lemon Sallow was a nice bonus #teammoth

Over 1000 moths to my Lepi LED in Superga (Nr Turin) Italy on Sunday night. Most of them Small Mottled Willows, with just a handful of individuals of the other 50 species - Antigastra catalaunalis, Dumeril's Rustic, Idia calvaria and Tiliacea sulphurago of note #teammoth

Sunday night on some heathland on the south of the Isle of Man, thick mist at times other times strong winds then drizzle then repeat not the best for moth trapping but 32 species was OK to my battery traps - Frosted Orange and Heath rustic the pick #teammoth

I was cursing the clouded buff flying out of the trap without stopping for a photo clearly the moth of the morning in my little reserve (VC29) but the moth gods has a small marbled to compensate 87 species, other days Antler moth would have been the star #teammoth
