Simple: timeline shenanigans + godly intervention. In the DF timeline, 🥝 was given a choice by the EDoT (who I still consider to be a completely separate entity inhabiting her body) to sacrifice her life for her siblings when the sun got eaten Whereas in the AQW timeline, she didn't have a choice
