Stream over. I managed to get one of the Intercessors painted. He turned out pretty good I think. I hope to stream again probably this weekend. I said Tuesday on stream but I remembered I have plans Tuesday. So maybe Saturday or Sunday.

An Intercessor Space Marine miniature. He is holding a Bolt Rifle with a Grenade Launcher attachment. His armor is painted light grey with a red right arm and pauldron.

Was brushing my teeth in the bathroom this morning and I happened to look in the mirror to see this grasshopper that looks like a leaf on the bathroom door. Idk for sure what it is, I think its a katydid or something. I caught it in a cup and put it outside.

A bright green leaf-looking grasshopper/cricket on a brown wooden door.

While I was on vacation, I made a big purchase for my Emperors Children army. I finally bought Fulgrim.

Fulgrim: Daemon Primarch of the Emperor's Children mini for Warhammer 40k. It is unpainted and is placed on a white surface with an off white wall in the background.

I finished painting my Saturnine Praetorast night. Gonna make a sick centerpiece for my homebrew.

A Saturnine Praetor for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. The model's armor is mostly painted yellow with copper trim. He has spikes with skulls stuck to them on the back of his armor, is holding a giant axe in his left hand, and a black Primaris Space Marine helmet in his right hand.

Me: The Murderwing Kill Team is cool, but its so expensive. Idk if Im gonna get it. Also me: *sees it at the mall for slightly cheaper and immediately buys it*

Six unpainted minis for the tabletop game Warhammer 40k, all part of the Murderwing Kill Team kit. 3rd from the left is a Chaos Lord with a Jet Pack. The other five are built as Raptors.

Three unpainted minis part of the aforementioned Murderwing Kill Team kit. The left and center one are 2 of the standard agents, while the third one is a Chaos Lord with Jet Pack.

Three unpainted minis from the aforementioned Murderwing Kill Team, these three being three of the standard agents that also come in the kit.

As promised, here is my fully Chaos-ified Saturnine. I think he turned out really well.

An unpainted, kitbashed Saturnine Praetor for Warhammer the Horus Heresy. It has been kitbashed with spikes on the back and a Primaris Space Marine helmet being held in his right hand. In his left is an enormous axe.

Okay Im ngl chat, I finished this Mutilator a few days ago and I honestly think its my best paint job yet.

Front view of a painted Mutilator model for the tabletop wargame Warhammer 40k. The armor is painted yellow with a copper trim and red cloth hanging from the waist. In the left hand are saw blades and attached to the right hand is a very large metal flail.

Ty all for tuning in tonight. I got some food going and I'm winding down and chilling. This bathroom will forever haunt my dreams.

A screenshot from the game Resident Evil 4 from 2005. In it, Leon is staring at a bathroom with just a urinal and a roll of toilet paper in it. In the corner of the screen is Malphas (me) clearly disgusted and pondering reality.

I showed it last night on stream, but I got him painted.

A Chaos Lord in Terminator Armor model fully painted in the colors of the Emperors Children legion: pink, black with silver and gold accents. He stands upon a rock. He is also kitbashed with a head from the Tormentors kit and a Doom Siren from the Chaos Rhino kit on his back.

The Chaos Lord in Terminator Armor came in yesterday and I kitbashed it with some more Slaanesh style pieces for my Emperor's Children army (which I know I cant use in any official capacity). I think he turned out pretty good. The Doom Siren came from a Chaos Rhino kit.

A Chaos Lord in Terminator Armor for the tabletop wargame Warhammer 40k. It has been kitbashed with a couple different pieces to give it a more Slaanesh vibe. The head comes from the Emperors Children Tormentor kit while the Doom Siren sitting on the back of the armor comes from the Chaos Space Marines Chaos Rhino kit.

I have a Venomcrawler Im trying to paint. Its not done yet but this piece of terrain I finished on the model came out looking great.

A piece of terrain attached to a beige base, part of the Venomcrawler model for Warhammer 40k. The terrain is a broken stone pillar with 3 skulls stacked in a compartment in the center. A tube and wire are connected to it through a device on the bottom of the pillar. Lying in the dirt next to it is a broken metal platform with a bronze aquila in the center. Two of the Venomcrawler's legs are visible, one positioned on top of the broken pillar and colored yellow with a copper trim.

I thought I was gonna be financially responsible this year, but then Slaanesh had to break into my home, give me the Eyes, and dangle a new Emperor's Children Battleforce above my head. Why must Games Workshop do this to me?

Malphas (Cowboy Fallen Angel VTuber) @malphasvtuber.bsky.social · 27/12/2025

Ive been using my break to work on a lot of Warhammer. Ive been making a homebrew Chaos warband called the Purged Serpents. Here's one of my Obliterators for it.

Not silly, but def nostalgic: Gauntlet: Dark Legacy. Hack and slash dungeon crawler I used to play all the time. Addictive gameplay loop, quite a few classes and hidden characters. I still dig it out and play it sometimes.

Hiatus announcement: unfortunately I will be taking a break from streaming for a while, probably until after the holidays are over. I need time to focus on my mental health and improving myself. I'll still be around here. Picture from my Discord.

Message reads:
"Hello everyone. It is unfortunate to say that I will be taking a hiatus from streaming for a while. The holiday season is not doing anything good to my mental health and I've been struggling for a little while. Today was the breaking point. As I've been discussing on my Bluesky, I am in the process of transferring departments at work. Unfortunately today I was informed it will not go through until after the holidays are over, meaning the next six weeks are gonna be bad for my mental health with how busy its gonna be. I will still be around here and on social media. As for when the hiatus will end: it will either be after the holidays or before that point if I feel like coming back. I'll be taking time to focus on myself in the mean time. Thank you all for your understanding."

Back on Thursday, my mod came over and we played a game of 40k with the terrain I ordered. Best game I've played so far. My army's on the right with my Chaos Space Marines (The Pyre) and my mod is on the left running Space Marines (his homebrew chapter).

I had an idea of how to test units for the tabletop ive been working on. Apparently you can make custom 2D figurines in Tabletop Simulator. It'll make good placeholders til I can buy the actual models.

Behold. My kitbashing attempts tonight. Combining the Chaos Space Marine Legionaries set with the World Eaters Khorne Berserkers set. Gonna use them for my Pyre army. Probably gonna make them World Eaters that joined the Pyre, which makes sense as the Pyre is formed from different warbands.

Announcement from my Discord. I haven't decided whether to go on hiatus yet (admittedly it might not be necessary because I do feel better than I did a few days ago, just not good yet). I'm gonna be working on trying to make myself feel better about my streaming.

A Discord message written by "Malphas VTuber" from his Discord server. The text of the message reads:
"Just to let y'all know I may or may not end up going on a hiatus due to mental health reasons.
Right now I am leaning towards not, but that may very easily change. I've been going through a large bout of depression and anxiety the past couple weeks, but have mostly ignored it. I think it's finally time, though, that I seriously look into trying to fix it (though I will admit this time I don't really know how). It's mostly about me having a lot of self doubt about my abilities as a VTuber and streamer and it's really weighing down on me (alongside real world events).
I will keep you guys posted. I think it is probably safe to assume stream may be canceled tomorrow and I might end up not streaming next week."

Howdy Yomi. I'm Malphas, a cowboy fallen angel vtuber. In lore, I was an angel thrown out of both heaven and hell, eventually becoming a vagabond that roamed the universe as a bounty hunter and mercenary. If I were in a comic, I feel I would probably be an anti-hero figure that leaned good.
